I saw the Chuck Norris commercials on my feed and said, at over 80 he seems like he is doing better than me in my late 50s. Simple daily routine of mixing up a bottle of Morning Kick has made a difference even my wife has noticed! Now I need to get her to trade one of her cups of coffee for this and she’ll be feeling better too. I notice when I miss a Morning Kick and sometimes get to it in the afternoon, but it is definitely a great way to start the day. When I ordered, I could only find it bundled with the survival food pack, which is fine because I should have invested in some of that sooner, what with the state of affairs today. Anyway I have no regrets and will definitely be ordering more. Thanks Chuck Norris for sharing this formulation with the world and helping so many to overcome the toxic effects of modern life! I literally think you should receive an award for bringing this product to market! Great Job!

Very happy to get this item. You never know what's going to happen in the future. Watch "The Road". So any extra sustenance you can get for an emergency is a plus. Haven't tried any of it but my thinking is if you are hungry enough, a boiled shoe sole would be tasty. So this stuff would be like a filet mignon. Grab it while you can!

I am a huge advocate for having emergency food and supplies on hand. The Red Cross recommends that you have at least three days of food, water, medicine, etc. on hand in case of an emergency, such as a natural disaster. Kits like these are an excellent way to put together an emergency store of food. This package is about the size of a large bag of pancake mix and contains multiple servings of oatmeal, creamy chicken flavored rice, and cheesy broccoli rice. The package claims, "26 servings" but I find the serving sizes to be a bit dubious. Realistically, there is enough food here for a single person to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner for three days. These foods are freeze dried and packaged in a sterile, thick plastic/foil type bag. So long as they are kept in a cool, dry place (such as in a closet or back of the pantry), they will easily last far beyond the stated 25 year shelf life. While this is an inexpensive way to have some emergency food on hand, it does lack protein. That's why I also purchased a #10 can of Mountain House Diced Chicken (seen in the second picture--NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PURCHASE). By adding some freeze dried chicken to this emergency meal kit, you are adding some much needed protein and additional calories, which means you now have enough portions for a couple of people for 3 days. And in an emergency, that can make all the difference! All in all, this is an excellent buy and highly recommended!

All the food takes more water than I wanted. Also the cook times are as long as regular food purchased. I could of made this myself in mylar bags for way less. Not worth the $40 I paid. I will keep and put away but would not purchase again.

There are better options available than these meals. This is described as a 3-day emergency meal kit. However, there are only a total of 3 large packets, so stretching this over three days would be a challenge. From the nutrition information, this package contains 5120 calories, or about 1700 calories per day if you make it last 3 days. I can't give nutritional advice, but on a normal day, I'd be really hungry with only 1700 calories. If I was in an emergency situation or hiking, I'd need much more than that.To test this kit, I prepared the "cheesy broccoli rice" packet. I prepared half of the packet, and attempted to reseal the bag to see if it would last 2 more days. To make the whole packet, the instructions say to add to 6 cups of boiling water, then boil while stirring for 20 minutes. I can confirm that stirring is necessary, as the parboiled rice kept sticking to the bottom of the pot.The dish tasted ok, but not particularly great. It was basically vaguely cheese-flavored rice with a small number of very tiny broccoli pieces. The broccoli pieces had nice flavor and texture, but there were very few of them. Per the ingredients, the cheesy broccoli rice contains 2% or less dehydrated broccoli. It does contain over 50 other ingredients though, making the ingredients list far longer and even more processed than similar products from other manufacturers.Comparing it to premium freeze dried meals, it is harder to prepare. One competing product requires adding boiling water, waiting 5 minutes, stirring, and waiting 4 more minutes. This kit requires adding boiling water, then boiling the product in a pot for 20 minutes while stirring. The serving is larger, but that's still a lot longer and more active of a process. The price of these is also lower than premium freeze dried meals, but it comes at the expense of a cleaner ingredients list and ease of preparation. These were edible and the price per meal was good, but I didn't like the quality and don't think they would work well as a 3-day meal supply.
