The lamp arrived in time as promised. It worked great for about two weeks ( it kills lots of bugs what is great since I don't need to use chemicals to get ride of pests in my garden). When it stopped working I contacted Amazon and they replaced it . Great customer service.

This thing is a workhorse. It is constantly zapping bugs and around the base looks like a war zone of dead bugs. We live in Florida and there is no end to the bug traffic. So far it does the job with excellence.

A great buy, works very well, the zapping sound eventually becomes white noise but as long as you are sitting near the lamp, you are guaranteed to escape the mosquito bite!

Great for the bugs like nats & mosquitos. The zapp is noticeable might get scared (forget its there) great for the job & not to big where it takes up space & has a hook to place it higher if need be

It hangs in the end of the steps going into my back yard. When you walk by you hear the "zap" as another bug bites the dust. I bought one about 3 years ago and changed out the bulbs when they burned out. Finally it wouldn't come to life any longer so I got an exact replacement. Only maintenance is unscrewing the bottom when it gets full of dead bugs and raking some of the bugs off the electrodes with the supplied brush. Buying packs of replacement bulbs is a good idea as some last 3 or 4 months and some only a few weeks. I think the amount of rain that falls on it has something to do with bulb life. In the beginning if a rain storm was coming I would bring it in until it passed. Now I don't bother and it keeps zapping the bugs (they are attracted to the light and when they get close enough to the electrodes you hear a very satisfying zap and then they fall into the containment area which holds a whole lot of dead bugs. This will really help keep the bugs away from the house and the dogs no long jump when it zaps another one like they did when it was just installed.
