I swear this has got to be the greatest invention known to man. We’ve had such a ridiculous problem with gnats and NOTHING has been able to clear them out completely. We have a guinea pig and every bedding change we would be infested with them and have to constantly wipe off little bug bodies after smushing them. THIS disintegrates them. Do I have some remorse? Sure. But the sheer pleasure of hearing the zap and watching them disappear trumps that feeling. My son actually prefers this over playing Roblox! So if your looking for a great way to get rid of the pesky bugs and keeps your kid off of technology look no further. Ya got a winner here. Any house warming I get invited to this will be there gift. We have bought several of these to use on vacation. They are MUCH better than the off-brand. Don’t waste money trying a cheaper one. These are sturdy and effective. That being said, I recommend not using them around sand. We used ours to swat a nasty flies on the beaches of Michigan. They worked, but when a grain of sand got lodged in the racket, it kept zapping without pushing the button. Finally the sand unlodged and it worked well again.

I absolutely love my bug zapper as it not only works on flys but it works on fruit flys/knats as well. I highly recommend everyone buying one for there homes. Its worth every penny i spent on it.

I got one of these for my mom and husband. They both work. My mom killed some moths and some flies. They both zap. I tried using the the one I got my husband to kill a stink bug. The armor on the stink bug must have prevented it from being killed so be aware that it doesn’t kill that type of bug. So, regardless, I do recommend them. They seem to be well made.

So I've had this bug zapper for a little bit and have been enjoying it immensely. I noticed the last time I used it the battery compartment lid kept popping off when I swung the racket at a bug, exposing the batteries. Thus allowing the bugs to get away. When I put the lid back on the battery compartment I noticed a crack in the handle next to the battery compartment which proved to be a weak area. The zapper still works. It's just I had to tape it up to make the handle stronger so the cover would stop popping off when I would swing at a bug. Which can be annoying. I taped it up. So now when I change the batteries I have to remove all the tape. That's the reason I changed my review from five stars to three.

I was surprised that this works at all, but it's a handy item to have to stop all kinds of flying bugs that tend to congregate around our light fixtures. Its size means it's easy to reach up to ceiling heights without a stool too. It appears to disintegrate the bugs instantly which implies a humane end to the bugs. Battery life has been good, but depends on use of course.

Vale mucho la pena, aunque puede haber otras opciones mas económicas y con mas facilidades como ser recargables, pero no compiten con la marca. Los materiales son buenos, la malla es de alambre grueso que no se rompe con facilidad. Utiliza batería AA pero duran mucho si activas el botón únicamente para matar el insecto. Cumple a la perfección con su propósito.
