Originally I received this product with two broken bulbs in the unit and two spare bulbs. It's not easy to change the bulbs and the tray on the bottom is nearly impossible to slide in and out. To add to the problems the link that Amazon provides doesn't work so I wrote the manufacturer directly and they said to contact Amazon. I'm getting a run around. Additionally they want you to use an AI troubleshooting guide but I just want the bulbs replaced and I still haven't figured out a way to request them through Amazon. If someone from Amazon or the manufacturer reads this please send me two replacement bulbs. I would rather avoid the hassle of returning the unit if possible. Today's date is 1/6/25 if I don't receive a message that bulbs are being sent to me within a week then I have no choice but to return it.*****"*************IMPORTANT****************I had difficulty trying to find out if I got any response because checking messages on Amazon can be tricky. Now that I know how to check my messages more easily I found out that they responded and have more than satisfied my needs. They have gone from a one star to a 5 star as they were courteous, polite, knowledgeable, friendly and professional in our messages and the very satisfactory outcome of this purchase. I now would highly recommend the product and the customer service care the highest possible rating as I feel they deserve. Typically when I rate a product I'll give it 4 stars if it works fine out of the box. But since they have gone above and beyond my expectations I feel they deserve 5 full stars.

Bought this for a second home in a wooded area. Had many spiders/web on the front porch due to cabin outdoor lighting. Set this 50 ft from the porch and this has cut down our front porch maintenance. Love that this is powered by the sun. No messy cords and can be placed virtually anywhere that gets daylight.

Not sure why the instructions say not to use in a garage ... which is why I wanted it to begin with. But aside from that, I've used it indoors just as it says it was designed for. The moment I turned it on, the few flies that made it into my house flew right towards it. Only problem is that they don't die right away ... but otherwise it does its job and saves me from having to hunt the buggers down.Contrast with competitor traps that you can get at big box stores (the types of traps that use a combination of sticky paper and that special blue light) ... Bugg Off .... just works!

I had seen some reviews where this had occurred. But who knows. I still ordered it. It was dead so I sent as return request and had them ship me a second one. I guess we will see how that turns out when i get the replacement tomorrow. I will update this after that.Ok I got the replacement unit and it was even packaged differently. Removed it from the box and set it up. Worked as soon as i plugged it in and turned it on. Working great.

This product is in my kitchen to keep flies away. It works great at night, attracting the flies with the bright light, and I now have far fewer problems with this product. Great value for money.

Used this product for a outdoor bar/kitchen area, arrived to me damaged but was able to repair and was hoping to replace but it was needed and could not wait. Ended up taking it apart and repairing it and it works great now

Edited to add; almost a year later and this thing is still going STRONG! It stays plugged in all day, every single day. We’ve never had to replace a bulb yet, none of the wiring has shorted on us and, still zaps the crap out of a ton of bugs!My husband and I have a farm and the flies this year were absolutely horrible! We tried so many different methods to get rid of them or at least make it somewhat tolerable to be outside or sit in the attached garage at the table to chat with each other or family and NOTHING worked! I came across this bug zapper one evening and figured what did I have to lose? Tons of flies. That’s what I had to lose. The amount of flies this bug zapper eliminated in just one night even was hard to believe! What made it even better was it was easy to install, and has a cleaning tray that makes it easy to clean and dump the carcasses. This purchase was WELL worth it. Not one single regret with this purchase!
