This tool works great! There was an air leak from the fitting that attaches to the air hose, but I just had to put teflon tape on the threads and screw it back in (the little O-ring would not seal it). The instructions are pitiful, but you can figure it out. The bottle that supplies the brake fluid to the master cylinder does not attach very well, but after some fiddling I was able to make it secure. I have used this tool to exchange the brake fluid on two vehicles, and exchange the power steering fluid on another ( just sucked the fluid out of the reservoir a few times and refilled with fresh fluid). This $40.00 tool saved me at least $200.00 that I would have paid for those services.

The unit comes with 2 master cylinder pressure caps. Odds are the screw on cap won't fit what you need this for. I took a chance on this product hoping the universal pressure cap would fit and work. It did, and very well. Figured I may not use it very often so low price was important. It seems to be well made, pumps up and holds pressure, then each wheel's bleeder can be opened in succession making it a one person operation. The little catch bottle, hose, and bleeder fitting can help make the process less messy.

These things work great if you're doing a fluid flush. But if you're doing a brake bleed of, say a new caliper or line. Depending on the vehicle it may or may not bleed all the way. Not a big deal, it just means you need to do it the old school way of someone else pumping the brake and bleeding it. Every time I had to do this it was 1 shot and done. So, save you a lot of the hassle of Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down Etc., etc.,Worth every penny. One thing I did notice it works better without the muffler

This product is heavy plastic...I thought it was very well made for the price point. I bought it to bleed brakes on my Range Rover after seeing a similar but costlier unit on Alantic British Rover Site. If you take care of this unit it would most likely last several years of use. Also just because the Guage reads higher than 15psi you never need to go above 20psi. I can see if you pump on this thing like a maniac I'm sure the simple plunger would fail. Take your time...pump it up to 15psi and you will be Golden...haha. I have another style that you need air compressor to use. This is Waaaayyy easier...I dont see how you couldn't give it 5 stars for the money.

Update 4/28/24I used the for the second time, the pressure gauge on the tank that lets you know what pressure you are bleeding with no longer functioned. It has a 30 day return window, I used it and found it no longer functioning on day 38. But it otherwise still works, and I have installed another gauge on it so not a big issue. But will definitely take it down to 2 stars as there are plenty of other brake bleeders on Amazon in this price range that so function after 30 dayspurchased "3L manual operated" because i had 2 cars that i was going to do brake work on. this particular bleeder pump worked as intended and had no issues bleeding all 4 corners of car quickly and easily. Though inexpensive, it does not have a cheap feel, holds pressure, no leaks, I will update listing if any issues occur after a few uses and it siting in storage with residual brake fluid.

Pump worked the time and filled the reservoir just fine. After filling the reservoir it did not provide fluid pressure to the calipers. After the first use, the quick disconnect on the hose failed and would not lock onto cap fitting. Also the reservoir/tank collapsed where the pressure gauge is, and the fill cap stripped out after 2nd use.
