Junk handle broke just trying to get the tube off that wouldn't come off so I could get it back into the junk storage case. It made a difficult situation worse by breaking, and the junk needle cover kept falling off. I don't need this. Wouldn't even fit into the trash right lol.I pulled it out of the trash and may try jb weld. A big wad of that might fix the handle. It might also waste more on this junk. Should also use it on the needle cover. *shakes head*

Went with this option as it was cheaper than buying an electric. I really like that the kit has the adapter set included if the tubing is too small like it was to fit the sidearm of my flask, its a quick fix. I also like that it comes with a suction/collection canister. If it works great for lab use it will probably be just as good for your car.

this is a get what you pay for, appears to be durable so far. it feels cheaply made but does what it intended to do. the suction is limited but holds. the handles are cheaply made. comes with a storage case. nice kit but not professional grade. but does what it is supposed to .

I was initially very reluctant to buy this pump. Usually cheap products suck in my experience. But I gave this one a chance. I bled the for lines of my classic Mustang with no issues at all. The kit is well constructed, perhaps not the best quality materials, but well put together. In addition, it comes with many substitutes just in case - Pump piston, bottle seal, extra hoses, etc. The pump sucked very well with no leaks whatsoever, and all connections kept very tight. I was able to do the job in 1/2 hour. I was planning to throw this kit into the trash after doing the job, but decided to clean it and keep it. I am sure it will continue to do fine in my next brake bleedings.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Yes, there is still an odor when you first open the case. I took the liberty of opening the case and allowed it to air ventilate for a week in the garage. The smell seems to be gone. I did not experience the handle grips coming off as mentioned in other reviews. However, the fix seems easy if it ever does happen. I was fortunate that the bleeder hose fit tight on the bleeder screws of my Ford without needing to use the provided adapters. However, I did experience one issue that I was able to rectify quickly. After completing one brake line bleed I noticed that the plunger, while squeezing the handles, was slowing down and seemed to be binding. I simply sprayed some silicone spray into the plunger area, and this fixed the problem. I disassembled everything for cleaning and storage but have found that the clear hose that attaches to the barbed brass fitting on the end of the handle assembly is on tight. I tried to remove it with pliers after spraying it with silicone but no luck. I finally resorted to cutting it off with a box cutter. While this is certainly a pain, it does demonstrate that the barbed fitting is indeed very tight fitting and holds a vacuum seal well. But again, for the price, all of this seems tolerable for a tool I will use every couple of years.
