The pump works as it should. I have the one you can attach to the top of the tank so I decided to try the reverse bleed as well. This way seems to be quicker as you are not fighting the air in the opposite direction. On the negative side, you have to make sure you have good connection to the bleed screw as to not introduce any outside air into the system.Overall, product works great. I would recommend flushing it after every use to prevent the brake fluid from destroying the seals when put back into storage.

Not super high quality, but functional brake bleeder kit. Much easier with a kit than doing it all by hand from the master cylinder.

I am using this to bleed the brakes on my Subaru. This is very handy because you don't really need a helper to get the brakes bled. I really like the case that this comes in and all the accessories that come with this kit. As long as I keep the brake fluid from getting into the vacuum tool itself, I think this will last a long time. Very happy with this and recommend to mechanics

* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a brake line vacuum kit that is a lot easier than using the traditional two person way of getting the air out of brake lines. You can do it by yourself with this kit.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Good value for the quality, all that’s included in the kit.-Well though out kit with the items you need.-Good quality on the items included.-You can operate it by yourself and remove the air from the brake lines by yourself with this kit without needing a helper inside the vehicle pressing on the brake pedal.-1 hand pump with an attached numerical dial gauge.-1 round cover, 1 liquid transfer cover.-1 bowl included.-120 ml storage tank included.-2 3” length tubes included.-2 20” length tubes included.-2 O rings included.-1 barbed T style tubing connector included.-1 barbed straight connector included.-3 K type valve adapters included.-2 cone style adapters included.-Unpowered, you manually pump and press the hand pump yourself.-Pump has a vacuum gauge dial for the pressure.-Dial gauge reads in 2 measurements: from 0-30 inches of mercury or0-760 mm of mercury.-Dial is large, easy to see and read.-Kit is reusable.-Tubing is made of safety grade PP plastic.-The storage tank has a cover and o-rings for sealing.-Multiple vacuum adapters included, 8 adapters included.-Comes in a nice, sturdy, hard EPE plastic storage case with a built in handle and inner compartments for the items.-Instructions included.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.* Tips & Thoughts:-This is a lot easier, quicker and more efficient than the traditional way of having two people to do it, one inside the vehicle pressing repeatedly on the break pedal. If you’ve ever done that, you know how long it takes and that you wear your leg out doing it if you’re the person inside the vehicle. I’d much rather do it this way, it’s well worth it and far easier.-Note that the case is unlabeled and doesn’t tell what’s inside it. You may want or need to make or add a label of your own for what’s in the case.-Be sure and check the listing and listing details and pictures to be sure it’s the right size and style to work with your vehicle.-Note that this is not an electric, powered or air powered device, it’s hand powered by pressing repeatedly on the hand pump.-You may want to refer to, print or save the listing details and pictures for more use tips and instructions.-Note that this kit is for air vacuuming, not removal of liquid, it can’t be used for liquids.

This vacuum will do the job, but not without some adaptation by the user. The gasket in the 'capture container' is very difficult to align and it does not sit in a formed gasket track. It is very flimsy and difficult to get it to make a good seal so that you don't lose the vacuum.Tube caps are provided to fit over a few different sizes of bleeder zerks. The tube caps that fit over the zerks are really cheap and make a very poor seal which creates yet another place where you will lose the vacuum. You must hold the vacuum pump, hoses and zerk connectors very still. Otherwise, they will leak and you will lose the vacuum. It is obvious that a more expensive vacuum/bleeder would do a better job without requiring so much assistance from the user.
