Bought a ton of solar wiring, a wattage meter and shutoff switch. This tool helped me out a lot. Comes complete with everything you need. Tool seems to be well made and had no hiccups when using it.

I've used this kit for a couple installations now, and it really works well. The included fittings mate well with my solar panels, and the tool works well for crimping the terminals and for tightening the two shell halves. Highly recommended for the occasional PV installer.

I recently purchased the BougeRV Solar Crimper Tool Kit and I must say, I am impressed with the quality and functionality of this product. The kit comes with a crimper, 6 pairs of connectors, and a spanner wrench, making it the perfect set for solar panel cable assembly and installation.The crimper is sturdy and easy to use, allowing me to easily crimp the connectors onto the cables without any issues. This crimper is designed for lug type terminals and does three sizes with a ratching-type crimp action. It comes in a nice outer plastic bag and consists of a carrying case and 6 sets of MC4 solar connectors (pairs) complete with good looking "silver plated" inner connector pieces. It also includes two wrenches (identical to each other) that are used for the final tightening of the MC4 connector bodies. The crimper secures in the case with two straps and a velcro binding and the MC4 connector pairs are in velcro closure pouches which keeps everything neat and in order. If a set of connectors are used, it frees up one of the pockets for other accessories like different style cable ends. The case is well made and has a zipper closure (one thing that could be improved is to include a tie in the zipper tongue to make it easier to get hold of - it tends to be hard to reach when unzipped). The sizes of the three crimping dies are labeled with square mm but no information is included on how die size translates to wire size, so that needs to be looked up - a simple instruction sheet would be helpful.Pretty much all that's needed for making good quality crimps for MC4 connectors and other lug type wire ends, and a handy carrying bag that compactly fits in with a tool collection.Everything needed to do

I had to do a solar install on my RV and needed to make my own wire lengths with connectors so chose this tool kit. I was not disappointed and had no issues with my installation. The connectors and tools worked out just fine and it was helpful that everything was in one bag. I would say for the cost you can't go wrong with this kit.

Just added some solar panels to my camp and to my home so just got to use these crimpers. Gave them 5 stars because there easy to use and we'll built. Very reasonable price also. I've been an electrician for over 40 years and own many different types of wire ratchet crimpers and find these great and I think they will last for years.

This is a great little kit which puts everything you need in one package. Crimp tool works well and components are at a quality level which exceeds the price point. Connectors are a bit on the lower quality side, however, they are very functional and should do well. If nothing else, this is a great "field repair kit" for the RV crowd. I would definitely buy this kit again.
