We damaged some connections on some old solar panel we removed from the roof. So I just cut the old connection off and made some new ones. These fit nicely and easy to make. You do need to buy a crimp tool. They make a mc4 crimp tool for under 20 dollars. I think it was iswiss brand for the tool. These connectors have the rubber seals making them water proof once it’s crimped and tightened down.

Had to purchase a few extra connectors for my solar array. Great quality and worked well. Do kinda wish they were individually wrapped by the pairs. But oh well. The metal crimps were packed per male and female in two separate bags tho.

So far so good. Seem to crimp nice and so far have been holding up well. Always nice to have some of these lying around, just in case
