I thought they would be a bit flimsy from the description photo, but...They are strong and of good quality. I haven't put them in my 400watt solar panel yet... will be mounting on my backyard fence.

Keep in mind that I used these to mount three 200W Renogy Panels on a shed roof, not a home roof. I DID NOT use the given hardware to mount to my shed roof but pricey galvanized, rubber washered hardware + silicone. No leaks after a good snowstorm here in Colorado. Great brackets and ordered 12 more for 3 more panels..... Keep in mind I can see the under side of the fasteners on my shed and garage so I KNOW if they leak. Great for my use, very stout. On a house I'd use a real rack system and make sure your insurer is cool with it.

I fit my work trailer with solar panels. These brackets fit very well and hold the panel securely. Make sure that they are screwed into the roof reinforcements, not just the sheet metal panels.
