Arrived complete with remote and batteries. Flawless setup. Insert my iPod and instantly listen to my music collection of 70+ year old vinyl LP's. Even on low volume the Bose system delivers incomparable sound quality comparable to high end stereo systems. The vocal and instrumental sound is accurate across all genres. Classics retain the subtleties of every instrument, Rock and Roll sounds are accurately reproduced, classic Musicals sound like the original Broadway productions. I think even Country Western tunes exhibit a subtle odor of beer. All in all, this is the finest electronic device I own.
