Hooked this up to a Sony home receiver and noticed quality audio quality would drop out, and fade frequently then come back. Thought maybe it was the receiver input so swapped this unit out for an Esinkin I have and nope!! This unit has terrible sound quality.

I have an old surround sound receiver that still sounds great but before blu tooth. This adapter easily plugs in and now I can stream music with quality sound. It connected to my phone and smart TV, zero issues.

This one works well with my old speakers that have an RCA input. It also can use a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The only down side to this is that it requires you to plug it in. Would not be great for a car unless you buy an adapter that can power it from your cig lighter. FOr home stereo it has great quality. It also will let you use RIGHT/LEFT Speakers for FM sound. Produces great sound. Fast to set up and easy to find and use when I need it. No troubles with connecting to Bluetooth. I will probably buy more if needed for other rooms and would recommend. It will power off after a bit if not in use which is nice so you don't really need to unplug it. It is also good that you can use RCA or Headphone jack. Very good. And good price.

The power cord it shipped with didn't work. I have extras but in case you think the unit is broken, it may be the USB cable. NFC pairing works well but the audio quality isn't great. I wanted HD audio like you get with LDAC or aptx-HD and this isn't it. The audio is steady, didn't drop or disconnect. If you're ok with average audio and want NFC, this would work. You don't get the advertised aptx-HD nor aptx-LL though. Bluetooth stayed connected and allowed multiple phones to stay connected at once, which was nice.
