The tube's were delivered on time as promised. They do the job of holding the pool cover in place. Two of the tubes had small leak. The vendor was very helpful and promptly sent replacement tubes.

I began filling the tubes. Two of them had little holes in them, which went flat overnight. One had a split seam which would not take any water at all. Total rubbish!

I added water to them and put them on the cover. A few days later half of them had no water in them. We had no rain or freezing temperatures in-between, they just sprung a leak. Not very good quality.

Built with a long lasting quality as described. Retains plenty of water and helps hold that pool cover in place during the changing seasons. Great value for your money and very easy to fill and install.

Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round for a tale of aquatic mishaps and the infamous Blue Wave 8-ft Double Water Tube! If laughter is the best medicine, then this product might just be the comedic relief your pool cover needs.A Comedy of Leaks: Picture this: you diligently set up your pool cover for the winter, thinking these water tubes will be your guardians against the forces of nature. Alas! These tubes seem to have a secret love affair with leaks! They leak faster than a toddler's sippy cup, ensuring your pool cover stays drenched in irony.Hilarity in Multipack: Not one, not two, but five water tubes arrive to showcase their collective incompetence! It's like assembling a team of comedians—each tube brings its unique leaking talent to the party. They unite in a symphony of dampness, ensuring your pool cover resembles a soggy sponge rather than a winter shield.Comic Relief Assembly: Attempting to fill these tubes is like participating in a water balloon fight where you're the only one getting soaked. Their twist-cap design, while theoretically convenient, becomes a farcical challenge. Expect water to spray in every direction except where it's supposed to go. It's a wet comedy show you didn't sign up for!Comedic Timing: Just when you think you've secured your cover, these tubes decide to stage their own Houdini act! They slip and slide, creating a slapstick routine where the pool cover becomes a waterbed, and you're left scratching your head, wondering where it all went wrong.Grand Finale: In summary, the Blue Wave 8-ft Double Water Tube for Winter Pool Cover might be the star of a slapstick comedy, but as a pool cover support, it's more chaotic than a water balloon fight in a library. If you're looking for a comedy show in your backyard and don't mind a damp surprise, these tubes might just steal the spotlight! For those seeking a water tube that doesn't moonlight as a fountain, you might want to consider other options. But if you're up for a wet and wild laugh riot, well, these tubes might just be your ticket to an unexpectedly hilarious pool cover season!

Approximately half of the tubes used did not survive on off-season.The remaining tubes that I tried to reuse, almost all leaked one month into this off-season and need replacement.

I purchased these bags in sept. 2021, put water in three and placed in position by pool. Upon inspection yesterday, I found two bags that one side had lost its water and one with both sides empty. Took a new bag out and while filling with water I see a stream of water coming out of the opposite end , see attached picture. The seams on on these bags were not bonded properly, along with that they must have come off a continuous strip at assembly and when separated they ripped /tore away from the margin separated the bags into the adjacent seam on the next bag causing leaks.. Its bad enough to buy these things that barely make it through two seasons anymore because of the poor manufacturing processes but when they leak out your cover many times ends up in the pool creating all kinds of work and problems that should not have happened. They are plain and simple garbage and I'm committed to finding an alternative method.

I bought this 5-pack of 8' water tubes to replace some of the 10' ones I bought when I closed the pool and that have now got holes in. Here are my thoughts on these tubes and the use of water tubes in general:1. Water tubes are not the best way to hold down a pool cover. However, they are still one of the cheapest.2. Do not over fill!3. These should be treated as disposable, since they won't all last a season, due to ice forming or even animals scratching and birds pecking holes in them to get water.4. It may be possible to add some antifreeze to the water, but it's a lot of hassle.5. Bigger is better. 10' tubes are better that 8' tubes and double tubes better than single since they cope with more damage (see (3) above).6. Do not over fill!7. There are many manufacturers, buy the cheapest, but heaviest gauge that you can.8. Buy more than you need. Some will leak.9. The "stopper valves" are simply molded plastic that are difficlt to close. Here's my technique: (a) Fill tube 2/3 full with hose (b) Fold over end of tube about 9-12" from the end with the stopper to create a raised fold so the water stays in the long part of the tube but there's not much water (flat) at the stopper end. (c) Place stopper on ground and align the cover the best you can (can be difficult since they are often misshapen). (d) Use a heavy, wide, blunt object to "smack" the valve closed. I use a house brick. (e) Unfold and you're done.10. Do not over fill!11. These will not all last multiple seasons. Live with it.12. If I could figure out an easy way to easily fill these with sand, they would be excellent - maybe next year!Incidentally, all 5 of my tubes DID NOT LEAK when I bought them and followed the above directions, but then I may have just been lucky!
