I have to replace my pool cover about every six months! This one last longer than Harbor freight or Doheney’s or Leslie’s pool and spa!

Great price on an inexpensive pool cover, I only use the covers for one year so as long as they last for one year, I’m happy, haven’t used this one yet because pool is still open

Lasted the winter in Kentucky...was frayed and sent to the trash afterwards. Did a great job, but the tarp material is thin

We have had a pool for a number of years now and have had about as many covers as years because they are never prime candidates for using a second year...but this one has been a complete disaster. It has disintegrated over the winter to the point where I cannot even syphon the water off of it. We have never had one go so bad that the water in the pool under the tarp turned green. We are opening the pool to smelly swamp water that I have only experienced in the wild. Terrible. I would definitely not recommend this product. The tarp is basically a strainer with water moving from the top of the tarp to under the tarp freely and contaminating the pool water. A complete mess and is going to be a lot of work and chemical expense to get us up and running this spring.

If you have an above ground pool near trees, you definitely want this for the fall. Instead of scooping leaves out over your cover you just pull this off and put it right back on. It does take two people one on each side of the pool, walking it to the opposite edge and the leaves will dump out on the grass and you just pull it right back over the pool. It literally takes less than 10 minutes. I was skeptical when I ordered it, but I’m telling you this has been a great purchase!

Revised Text:This pool cover is easy to install. It is thin and designed to be used for just one season after being removed following the long winter months. Once taken off, it no longer serves its purpose due to weather degradation of the material. I purchase a new one each year to ensure it is functional and reliable to keep everything out of the pool.

We typically purchase a large tarp cover for a single season use. After installing it, I feel it should give me a second season maybe more. As long as you pump water off and don’t let it accumulate more than several inches you’re fine. This is what got me in the past and from the weight caused rips. I have no complaints with this cover and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a loop lock. Plus you get sparkling clean water when you open. It’s a steal at around $120 as opposed to pool companies that wanted to charge me $375.

I am not impressed with this cover. What I would like to know, does this cover allow water to pass through it and if it is not supposed to then why when I put the hose on top to drain off the melted ice and snow did it start to empty the pool. It is a good job my husband noticed it or we would have not water left in out pool. I am also wondering if the cover we purchased just had a defect in it because I have heard some positive remarks from some and also some not so positive remarks from others. Anyway, I am not happy with it at all.Valerie
