After having to purchase a whole new folding hot tub cover and lift system because sun and weather had ruined the cover we originally bought with the tub years ago, we decided to was a good idea to buy a cover to protect the cover. It fits well, it's easy to put on and take off, and so far, it's holding up well and protecting the folding cover as well as the tub just as it was meant to do.

We have bought at least 3 of these since getting our hot tub 6 years ago. It fits well but only lasts two years as the sun eats away and ruins the fabric causing rips. Otherwise it’s great.

We had bought this cover, (the first one, last December 2022) that one lasted almost one year to the date. We bought our new one December 2023, same brand because it fits beautifully and looks much more appealing than the plywood we had over the hot tub initially. The reason for the 4 stars rating is because the cover only lasted 1 year. Now granted this is Florida but 1 year! This time when we received the new cover we sprayed almost an entire bottle of fabric protectant on it so we'll see if it lasts more than a year. If I remember next year I'll review again to update on this one that we treated and will probably treat bi-monthly.

The cover fits well. The material is a little thinner than anticipated. The cover fades quickly even for a tan colored fabric. The material is water resistant. It beads up at first and then soaks through. You do end up with some leakage through the material onto the top of the spa insulated cover. Leakage can find its way through the insulated cover seams and down into the heated water. Cover is now showing small abrasions and micro tears or snags after a year of high altitude use in Colorado with some snow. I doubt it will finish out a second year. In fitting well, you can remove it on and off quickly. It is thin enough that you can allow it to be folded over inside the insulated cover and moved off to the side.

I wanted to wait and see how this cover would perform before giving a review. It IS NOT WATERPROOF, they should not be able to use that word when speaking of this product. I had a light rain shower, the water was on top of the cover, but that same day when I went to use the hot tub, all the rain was now trapped between this cover and my hot tub cover. If I hadn't placed this item on my tub, the wind would have had all the rain dried off, but this 'cover' just traps it between and it will only cause mold and mildew problems if not removed and allow the top to dry. I purchased this cover because it Boldly States "Waterproof' and it is Not! It is easy to put on the tub and has various adjusting straps to keep it on in windy conditions but for the price it should have been Waterproof especially since it states that in the opening line of it's description. Amazon should make the manufacturer remove this word from it's description. So be warned, if you need something WATERPROOF, this is NOT for You!! After less than 8 months use, it torn during a mild night of wind. For the prices they charged for this item, it should last longer than this. The material is too brittle to repair. All this after less than 8 months use. A plastic tarp would have lasted longer and provided more water protection than this cover. Do Not Order This Item, it's not worth the cost.

Purchased this item because it seemed like it would be a good value for the money to cover my hot tub. I live in eastern North Carolina so we don’t have really bad weather here. It was easy to install and looked really nice. However I noticed about two weeks ago that there are three holes in it and one that’s going to be starting soon. Not a good value for the money. I contacted Amazon they will refund my money but they want me to send this back. It is heavy and cumbersome so that’s not an option for me since I’m 72 years old and I’m currently taking care of my special-needs granddaughter who is three. I take very good care of everything that I own so it’s not lack of care for this hot tub cover it’s just very poor quality.
