This is the 3rd season I bought this pool cover. They have always fit as expected. The 1st 2 seasons they only lasted 1 season and startedto tear down the seem right before opening. I had to take it off carefully but it didnt cause anything to go into my pool. This year I tried another brand n it arrived too small n already tearing at the seem so I threw it away n I ordered one of these again. At least this brand fits n it lasts through winter. It actually seems like they improved the seems, so who knows. I might even get 2 seasons out of this one. One of the grommets was smashed n folded in half but I never use the cable anyways. I think heavy duty spring clamps are an easier n more effective was to keep a pool cover on. Bottom line is, this is a decent winter cover and it has enough over lap. You can count on it to last 1 season which is all you can really ask for at $50. Good job on fixing the seems 👍🏻

Ya había comprado una de esta marca en otra medida y me salio excelente pero esta se rasgo al momento de ponerla en la primera vez, aun funciona pero se siente más delgada qué la anterior siendo de la misma marca, el cabestrante de esta también funciona deficientemente

I’ve seen reviews of the tarp splitting. My 18’ one does not have a seam. Maybe larger ones do. I’ve bought this one twice. And figured out the best way to secure it is: I used duct tape and made additional reinforced holes (manu should consider more grommets, I ran the wire behind the post and every 3rd post wrapped the wire, don’t wrap too many or you’ll be short on wire. ). It’s not going anywhere unless a Nader takes the whole thing. I don’t need it sealed shut and the Saran Wrap stuff doesn’t work well through Oklahoma winters anyways. Install is easily a one woman job

This winter cover is pretty thin. Rips pretty easily. If you install it correctly, and get the right size for your pool, it works ok. If you’re in a windy area, I’d look for a thicker one. The wind can cause it to wear quickly. Don’t expect more than one winter’s use.

I recently had the misfortune of purchasing the Winter Block WC18R Aboveground Pool Winter Cover, and I can confidently say it's been a complete disaster from day one. This so-called "winter cover" is more like a recipe for frustration and disappointment. Here's a scathing review of my dreadful experience:1. Poor Quality Materials: The quality of this cover is shockingly low. It feels as though it's made from the flimsiest material available, more akin to a trash bag than something that should protect your pool throughout the winter.2. Inadequate Size: Despite being advertised as an 18-foot cover, it barely covers my 16-foot aboveground pool. It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and the edges flap around like a loose flag in the wind.3. Weak Construction: The stitching and overall construction of the cover are abysmal. It's like they used dental floss to hold it together. I had to reinforce several seams to prevent the cover from falling apart.4. Useless Tie-Downs: The included tie-downs are an exercise in futility. They snap, break, or come undone with even the slightest breeze. It's like trying to secure your cover with wet spaghetti – utterly useless.5. Poor Drainage Design: The design of this cover makes it sag in the middle, creating a water pool instead of preventing it. It's like a rainwater reservoir that threatens to collapse under the weight, potentially damaging your pool.6. Total Lack of Durability: If you expect this cover to withstand the harsh winter elements, think again. It's more likely to give in to the first gust of wind or snowfall. It's like having a paper umbrella in a hurricane.7. Misleading Advertising: The product description and images are misleading at best. What you see is not what you get, and you end up with a flimsy, ill-fitting, and practically useless piece of pool cover.8. Wasted Money: This cover is not only a waste of money but also a waste of time and effort. I had to spend extra on a better cover to actually protect my pool from the winter weather. In conclusion, the Winter Block WC18R Aboveground Pool Winter Cover is an absolute disaster. Its poor quality, inadequate size, weak construction, and useless tie-downs make it a terrible investment. Instead of protecting your pool from the winter, it's more likely to cause you headaches and additional expenses. I strongly advise against purchasing this cover and suggest looking for a more reliable option that won't leave you regretting your choice.
