The electric scissors work well and overall, I am happy with their capabilities. I bought them mainly to cut up cardboard boxes to put in our recycling bin and it does that job well. Most of the standard, Amazon box cardboard or other shipping box cardboard, the scissors will cut through without any difficulty. If it is a little bit thicker cardboard, it will still cut it but it goes a little slower. This is understandable in my opinion but that is why I deducted one star. When dealing with thicker cardboard, if you cut parallel to the corrugations, rather than across them, it will improve the speed of the cut.When I initially received the scissors, I thought the charger wasn't working because the charging light didn't come on when I plugged it in. But as it turned out, the battery was already fully charged so the light didn't come on. When the battery is depleted, the red light will come on to indicate that it is charging and it goes off when charging is complete. There is no green light or anything to indicate charging is complete. No big deal but worth knowing so you don't think yours is defective.

Does a great job, cuts through cardboard boxes like a hot knife through butter. Battery last a long time, it is a little loud but you put up with it because it gets the job done.

I love it! It makes getting rid of cardboard so much easier. Cuts super easy through even thick cardboard.

Its a 4v electric cutting toolI tried it on several different material types (cardboard,poster board,pressed wood thin sheets and metal tubing for dryer that was super thin)and it cuts everything like butterAlot of power in this little device, really helped alot when trying to cut up all the cardboard from delivery boxes or even when I needed to do some leather for a certain patch up it was so easy to cut!Its not recommended to cut heavy metals or super thick items.The ones I did, I was very surprised how it cut and didn't run out of battery even after 30mins of cutting.Be careful because no guard is around the sheers.If you have your hand or fingers close, it could easily cut them so knowing that......Always work slow and watch yourself not to place yourself/hands where danger can be. Think before to cut and take all safety measures such as protection gear and eye protection before to cutOn the device it has a 2 point safety in order to change out the sheers, it seems it would never pop off during operation which is great designBut....Always have power or battery disconnected when changing anything on a electric device if it cordless or corded.Overall this is a awesome handheld cutter.It really does cut like butter on the things you can cut with it. Battery has a long capacity and its great they included a 2nd pair of sheers at 90degree cutting, a charger for the battery and a mini hand knife thats like a utility knife but small & its able to retract.Im so happy to get something like this because now everything is so quick to cut and without much effort.Absolutely a amazing product!Totally recommended
