So much better than the washable ones . . . which have to be WASHED every time my toddler has an accident . . . every night. This I just wipe down with a soapy cloth.

I use these zippered waterproof mattress covers for my large dog beds. It avoids ruining the foam if there is an accident. It works great for this.

Update- both of the ones I bought have seam rips. One seam is completely detached (not the one pictured). Returning both.I am using this to protect dog beds. Bought 2 and one came with a hole in the seam. It is not a tear. You can see the stitching missed the fabric in one spot by zipper. Not really enough to make me return it. I included a pic of the 40” bed to show it is not tight. Was very easy to slip on. Still should work ok, I tucked the end with the hole under the bed and has a blanket over top of mattress cover. The mattress cover is very crinkly and loud.

This fits any standard crib mattress and zips up nicely to protect the mattress. Definitely worth purchasing to preserve a crib mattress or to cover a fabric mattress so you can protect from leakage
