this set come with 6 squares, but two of them are connected, making it 3 separate pieces. The pads will cover about half of a crib meaning if you want to surround the entire (full-sized) crib you will need two sets. They work as expected and I do recommend them. I

It's thickly padded and easy to cut to fit snugly against the bed without hitting the corners.
