Needed a cleaner to work on hardwood and travertine. This one is perfect for both. This Bissell is easy to use. Easy to fill water tank and easy to empty it. Easy to put on the pads. Even when my hands are feeling arthritic, it's not difficult to place the pads on it. I love the spot boost brush to remove hardened foods and liquids in the kitchen. I've only used the brush a couple of times and it worked great.

This is really easy to take out of the closet, fill with water, and get the floors clean. I can't think of any improvements needed other than it is a little tricky get the cleaning pad onto the bottom. But after a few practice tries I have it down now. Will never go back to a manual hand sponge mop for my wood floors.

Great steamer! Some things you should know:1. The ribbed pads offer much more resistance, and makes the steamer harder to push.2. For normal cleaning, the unribbed pads are fine for us.3. The Bissell pads are MUCH too expensive. We bought alternative pads that fit well, and cost so little that they are throw-aways. I did the math, and the overall cost is MUCH less per use, and no bleach to ruin your clothes!

Easy to set up, works like a DREAM, pads are washable and extras are available and affordable! I am older and have some old injuries that limit how long I can use my back to clean, etc. YOU WILL LOVE THIS! MELTA the dirt away! Pour whatever sanitizer you want directly on the floor DO NOT POUR IN THE WATER WELL OF THE STEAMER. And comfortably, easily clean your floors in minutes. The little bristle scrubber will take care of any tough spots. I sound like a commercial but this thing rocks! YAY YAY YAY!!!!
