This rack is designed to mount on the type of bike pictured in the add. Don't think it a universal type. I have an ole trek 930 made into a commuter. It did not fit quite right. I had to modify it. Not the fault of the rack. Otherwise a good rack.

Not the best directions but fit together pretty well and support my huge steel front basket nicely. I’m gonna replace the clamps for my forks with some smaller, better clamps from my shop. The ones with it are huge and I just know it’d be better and more secure with some tighter fitting clamps.

The support is a little heavy but it does it’s job.

Rack basically fits, it is steel material as advertised, looks good and it appears to be just what I need for carrying extra gear on my bike trips.

The rack fit on my fat tire E-bike. Installation was easy, but the aluminum L-bracket that supports the rack from the stem is a fatally flawed design made of subpar materials. Steel would be a better choice for this L-bracket design, or a U-channel might work if the manufacturer wanted to stick with aluminum. As is, the bracket cannot withstand the dynamic loading that comes from riding on a sidewalk or a road ... don't even think about taking it off-road with anything on the rack. The pipe clamps that hold the rack to the forks are also a poor choice for secure mounting and will move around under dynamic loading. There are other brackets that would be a far superior choice. This product is not a desirable choice even if it was half the price. Recommend you pay a bit more and consider the Blackburn Outpost Fat Front or Rear Bike Rack if you’re looking for a rack you can actually use.

Ignore the product description on the top of the web page; read the product details. All parts are common steel; confirmed with a magnet. Also, the bolts are of a generic size and not the right length for a good fit. If you order this rack, also order a package of M6-1.0 lock nuts (need 9) from Amazon to replace the cheap "ordinary" common nuts included with the rack.

Beware, It is not aluminum as mentioned in the description. It is ordinary steel with black paint. If you expect it to be aluminum then you’ll disappointed. Anyway I need it urgently and have no time for return and make another order.
