Have used one for years with zero problems. Bought again to go on a second bike, a Surly Ogre. Well made, fit perfectly, no mods needed!

All was good except for the cheap solution of hooking the front to the seat post, which made me deduct two stars. They provided two unpainted, perforated strips of aluminum. I painted those to make them a bit less ugly. Even in the shortest position they were also too long and needed bending to keep the rack in a horizontal position (actually, mounting in a tilting down towards the front orientation is recommended but wasn't possible). Still, they feel flimsy, limiting the load one can place on the rack. My other bike came with a rack that uses adjustable length rods of matching color -- why couldn't Topeak use that method?

This bike rack is very nicely made and very easy to install. I like the ease of just sliding on the Topeak mtx bags without having to use straps. Very durable rack. Highly recommended if you are looking for a well made bike rack.

It has held up nicely for the more than a year that i've put it through many dozens of uses. It was not so easy to install but I figured out how to do it. That's the nature of working on a bicycle though.
