Unfortunately, my package didn't come with assembly instructions. Apart from that, I was able to decipher where nuts and bolts went based on the product pictures. Overall, it's a very capable rack that can attach on the rear down tubes when the frame doesn't have the attachment holes. The supporting brackets only work on thick down tubes, so it may not work on vintage frames.

I put this on my Trek Hybrid/Fitness bicycle. This is my "bumming around town" bike so finding a rack like this one was important to me.Overall, the pieces come all in a bag with instructions and you assemble. Lots of assorted parts, so it does take time sorting and finding the screws and parts you need, but eventually it comes together.Installing on the bike was a little tricky because I had to adjust the seat up then down again to get it to settle in place without affecting how high up I get to sit. The connection to the frame I'm a little nervous about as I feel like there's a chance it can scratch it. With that said, that's not unusual for some bike racks, although others I've seen use existing frame bolts to secure things down (or provided a slightly longer bolt).Overall, it's a good buy, just know that assembly took a bit of time and energy, and you have to take great care installing it on your bike.

well made, great for side panniers or to straps on drysacks.

The rack feels quite solid and I (a fairly large person) leaned hard on it and it held up fine. I tend to believe their weight rating. However, I can't say I'm especially happy with it because the clamps that go on your seat stays scratched my frame quite a bit. I think there was a burr on the bolt holes and when I slid it onto the frame it left a very distinct scratch.Luckily, I was installing this on an older bike to help haul tools for trail work sessions so I don't care _too_ much, but I'd be very unhappy if I had put this on a nicer bike. If you are installing this on something you care about, I would make darn sure to spread the clamps enough so they don't touch the frame at all until they're seated on the rubberized part. Alternatively, have some other sort of frame protection in place where you put the clamp.

The EQIIO Rear Bike Cargo Rack, pairs nicely as a support for the new basket I just bought. It's also robust and well-made of aluminum and can support over 100 lbs. of weight on its black metal chassis. With clamps that attach easily to the bike frame, I w3as up and running in no time. Waterproof and rust-resistant, it also added very little weight to the bike, which allows me to transport more cargo. Since my bike came without a rack, I was happy to give this one a try. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Just what I needed. I really like how the sides protect cargo bags from the tires. Easy to install.
