Operation of welding machine
Easy to use
- After receiving the welding machine, please carefully check whether all accessories are complete.
- First, plug in the ground clamp wire, and then insert the welding torch wire.
- Next, connect the power cord and confirm that the voltage is within 110 volts.
- Turn on the switch button on the back of the welding machine and rotate the current adjustment button to the desired current. Select a welding rod of appropriate specifications and clamp it with the welding torch. Make sure to wear welding mask.

Surprisingly small which seems cool but also kind of gimmicky. I tried it and can't see how this is better than a Harbor Freight $89 on sale and much more reliable and safe welder, but for the price and size, it's ok. It's nice to have around for small projects without getting the whole cart out. It works, it's funny lol. the included mask is garbage but you should have a decent one anyway. 3 stars.

We are thrilled to receive this portable arc welder! It is small, lightweight and compact as described and came with everything listed, but there were a few downsides. The included 'mask' is just a cheap piece of plastic and there's ZERO eye protection in the slot provided. It's just empty and has nothing in it and nothing is included to put in it so it's useless. If it actually did include eye protection it would still be useless as you would have to hold it with one hand, so if you don't have a proper welding mask with proper eye protection ect, then plan on buying one. It's really off putting that they would cheap out on a mask as it's REQUIRED safety equipment when welding. It would have been better to not include a mask than waste money on this useless junk.***Always protect your face and neck properly and make sure it has proper eye protection as using an arc welder without proper eye protection can lead to permanent eye damage and blindness from looking at it.The other issue off the bat is the very slim instruction manual. They could have done a much better job on it. This is a portable arc welder, but it still should have proper, full instructions as it can be dangerous if not operated properly.I haven't gotten a chance to test it out yet as I discovered my welding blankets needed replacement (do not use anywhere indoors without QUALITY welding blankets to protect against sparks starting a fire!) and I need a new, quality welding mask that flips back on forth easily.I'm hoping this handy sized arc welder does the small/small medium jobs I've chosen it for. Once I replace my supplies and set up my area I'll be able to fully test it and then I'll update.

This thing is smaller than expected - about the size of half a loaf of bread. I didn't expect much from it but gave it a try. On opening the box that it came in and taking out the the welder I noticed something rattling in the box. That turned out to be pieces of the handle for the welding shield making it useless. It was super cheap plastic material that would break if you so much as looked at it hard. That was not a huge deal for me since I have a much better one as well as several welding helmets so I didn't deduct for this. I normally deal with smaller items and use a wire feed welder for my work but there are times when I wish I had a stick welder for some things. But I never wanted to spend the money or take up more space with the typical ones available. After assembling the welder I got a few pieces of 1/2 inch square tubing to try it out. It took a couple of tries to to adjust the current and to get it to arc with the provided rods. Since they were in a loose unsealed package and may had picked up some moisture causing a little splatter when welding, surprisingly they provided a really good weld after striking an arc. I'm sure it won't work for really heavy duty welding but for my purposes this does a great job. It is very compact and a small price. It looks very similar to Harbor Freight's 80 amp arc welder that is 3x the cost of this. A good addition to my shop.

I can not imagine how they justify even producing this item.I have reviewed a total of 4 compact stick/ stick-lift tig machine this past few months, including this one, and they run from excellent to useless, as in the case of this one. Aside from the fact that the output terminals are not even identified as to polarity, the amp rating is a fantasy of the digital display, and the welding capability is nill, steer clear!If you need a mini stick welder, there are some very good ones available, there are a few exceptional promotions on some amazing machines.Unfortunately, this type of product perpetuates the perception of PRC/ Chinese welding equipment as junk.
