Does stick and Tig like a champ. I honestly have no idea how this can be this cheap and work so well. If you are new to tig remember you will need a bottle of argon, self dimming helmet, filler wire, and gloves. The welder is the cheap part. All the other stuff adds up

Took a few strikes to get it working some of the time, as it was sticking. But I'm going to go ahead and give it five stars. For the price I paid, it's a great machine. It's a bit more powerful than something else I'm going to get at Canadian tire. But for half the price and a little more amperage. Yeah, I'll take a little bit of sticking any day

Easily burns 1/8” rods on 240v and it welds better than my ancient AC buzz box. Using 120v I could burn 3/32” 6013 and 7014 satisfactorily but 7018 was a struggle not worth the effort. Tripping a 20 amp breaker on 120v is common. If you have minor welding tasks and need portability and 120v convenience it does a good job with the right rod and clean metal. The only fail so far is the right terminal connecting the ground conductor to the clamp burned out. It was a bit skimpy and had no washers. Perhaps it was loose. Easy enough to remedy.

I’ve had this little welder for almost a year now. I keep it on my work truck for small welding jobs. Works great for tig welding. I upgraded the tig torch setup that comes with the machine( the tig one). I run a dry torch set up with it. But definitely a decent little machine.

Bought it with the mindset that it was cheap, but I was shocked by how well it worked. Used it for a entire project and it worked flawlessly. Paid for itself on one job.

Honestly I'm pretty impressed with this little thing. It's super light weight and I used the crap out of it to fix my car exhaust. I'm no professional welder by any means but this did the job! I used E6013 rods from Menards. I used the welder on 120V setting mostly at 75A. I did use it at 140A but that will blow a 15A breaker pretty easy. I think it would be a lot better on a 20A circuit. My car exhaust was super rough. From dragging on the ground I had to fill large holes and this did it great. Took some time and looks like Sh!t but it had good penetration and did the job flawlessly. Super glad I chose this option over some of the others. Don't let the price deter you id highly recommend from my experience. Hopefully it lasts for the long run because this job paid for the machine but obviously there's a lot more to come for it.

I'm not going to say this is the best loader you're ever get because it isn't however I will say that for the price and the convenience this little thing is awesome.Seems to be a little finicky at times with 6011 rods to get an arc started but once it's going it runs well I've heard others say that the 6013 rods run a lot better but I use the 6011 rods on quarter inch mild Steel and the penetration is very impressive.Hands down what hesitate to buy another one of these

Note: All examples were done using 220 volts.UPS brought this little guy to my house today. After unboxing, first thing I did was check the DC open voltage with a multimeter. Unit checked out 80 v. much better than stated voltage of 65v. I turned the amps all the way up and it read 138 amps. I hooked the unit up at little welding station I have down in the barn. I used electrode and grounding cables from another welder (these cables are heavier that what came with the unit). Time to weld. I first used Forney E7018AC 3/32. Amps set at 80. Struck an arc and keep it lit on first try. Welded like butter. Very impressed. Next I tried 6010 3/32 on DCEP (electrode on positive) 80 amps. Too cold. Gradually cranked it up to 100 amps before I could keep the arc lit and weld. I then reversed cable polarity. Arc popped and cracked and sounded almost scary. I turned the amps down to 60 amps and was able to weld but keeping the arc lit was a challenge. Lastly, I tried Forney E7018 1/8. I had to max out the amps before I could weld. Conclusion: Runs 7018AC 3/32 like a dream. Runs 6010 3/32 kind of sort of if ground clamp is on pos and electrode is on neg (DCPN). I can make it work but not a lot of fun. I did not try 6013 or 6011 but I think it should run those rods up to 1/8 without much problem. It will weld 7018 1/8 but that is max it can do. I am not disappointed with my purchase.Day 3 up date. I have been welding with 6011 and 6013 both 3/32 in and 1/8 in rods. This little guy runs those rods great. Runs 6013 so easy I think I could train my dog to weld with it. Great Buy !!!!!!
