- The Benfei VGA to HDMI Adapter provides a cost-effective and easy solution for connecting a desktop, laptop, or other legacy computer with VGA port to a HDMI display such as monitor, projector or TV.
HD Video Resolution and Audio Support
- Video resolution support includes 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x800, 1280x960, 1280x1024, 1360x768, 1360x1024, 1366x768, 1400x1050, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, and HD 1920x1080. An integrated USB cable provides digital audio support and extra power when needed.
Digital USB Audio
- The audio signal is embedded with hdmi video
- Connect the USB cable to the source computer usb port
- Select the USB audio on the playback tab of the sound menu in Windows
- Select the input audio from HDMI Display menu

Crystal Clear Image
- Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz (1080p Full HD), including 720p and 1600x1200 for HD monitors or projectors.
- Support Audio output if the OS is Windows
Note: When the OS is not Windows, please ensure the USB is connected with external power supply. The VGA source could not generate enough power for the Chipset, so the external power supply from USB is required.

Important Note
- This cable is used to connect the VGA source to the HDMI Display, it could not work in the opposite direction.

How to USE:
- Connect the VGA cord to VGA Source
- Connect the USB cord to the computer or laptop.
- Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI Slot (HDMI Cable is sold separately)

The device worked with very poor resolution, I don't know the reason, I replaced it with another cable and the resolution became correct.

This cable is great and allows me to use a newer HDMI monitor with my old computer that has only VGA output. The USB connector also lets me pass audio to my monitor as a great added bonus since I have my speakers connected to the monitor. The picture quality is oh-so-slightly fuzzy but overall is very good for being converted from an analog to digital signal via the cable.Tip: if audio isn't working be sure to select "CS201" as your mixer device since it won't automatically selected when you plug in the USB connector.

I ordered this cable for our back office because we had gotten a replacement monitor that only supported hdmi. It was simple to set up and worked fine for a few months. It suddenly stopped working one day so I had to order a replacement. Not sure if the chip burned out but at the very least it served it's purpose for several months.

Great cable to interface old VGA to HDMI. you MAY NEED TO PLUG IN THE USB even if you don't need or require sound and then the cable for your monitor will work. It's works great!

Converts VGA to HDMI flawlessly. I'm using it to attach an old Dell laptop with VGA output to a modern Dell monitor, which does not have VGA ports. No adverse affects on picture quality at all.Note: These cables are unidirectional only. I made the mistake of purchasing a HDMI to VGA cable which did not work. Make sure you read the item description carefully.
