I have other fountain pens, but I purchased this for my boss. It writes well and is easy to swap out the cartridges. For the price, this is a nice price point for a fountain pen.

Fine lines, solid cap, good solid weight, easy to fill, sized and balanced for easy use by small or large hands. I bought one for myself and my best friend— tiny hands and big hands. He was terrified of fountain pens, but loves the smoother flow of this one. Very giftable, stylish, old-world craftsmanship meets new-world practical! Tip: use with a high-quality permanent ink, especially if you are left-handed. The pair are inspiring for any writer and daily use.

This pen is very sleek and beautiful. I bought it for a medical Assistant who loved it and said it’s the only pen he would ever use. It writes really smooth. I bought their calligraphy pen and I’m in love with that pen. If you use these pens you’ll never want anything else.

Not many people still use fountain pens, and I was suspicious of a made-in-China pen for such a low price. I am happy to report that I am very pleased by this Beiluner pen, with fine tip. Writing with the pen is smooth, and the line width of Fine Tip is just right for me.Various postings have complained about the pen's writing being too broad and/or the ink spreads. This is the fault of the paper, not the pen. Writing on "printer paper" does not work. The ink spreads and bleeds through. This is part of the design of the paper for inkjet printing. Normal paper for writing has sizing to prevent spreading and bleeding. (Go to Wikipedia and search on "sizing" for more info.) It is like writing on newsprint instead of magazine paper. The pen works well with pages for school notebooks or stationery. Note: For signing letters, use quality "bond" paper. Do not use "printer" paper because of the bleeding, unless you want a big bold signature. Of course, the bleed-through would be convincing evidence that the signature is real, not just a printed graphic ;-)The pen with ink and cap weigh 32 g (1 oz.); without cap 21 g. Yes, it heavier than most ballpoint pens, but not a problem; I like it.The pen came with the "converter" insert installed, and that is good. I do not use disposable cartridges for various reasons. Some notes on filling: Immerse pen tip deeper into the ink to load than the instructions show. Must go all the way to the gold ring, or only air is drawn in. Test: Lower the piston to displace air with the pen in the ink. If there are no bubbles, it is not deep enough and will not draw ink. A side effect is that the ink bottle needs to have a lot of ink to be deep enough.

The pen works flawlessly and writes smooth.I'm going to love using it... The leather case is also beautiful. I was able to install the provided ink cartridge even though the instructions didn't mention the amount of force required to install.. . The cartridge requires a very firm push until you here it "Click" into place.

The pen is beautiful. The craftsmanship is evident. The ink flows smoothly with no skipping and dries very quickly guaranteeing no smudges. I wanted a fountain pen that was useable and comfortable to write with and I’ve found it. Kudos!!

I bought this pen as a gift for my son. I was quite surprised that he asked for this. He is 17, not something commonly requested by a 17-year-old boy for Christmas. I of course, opened it and set everything up tested it out. It is simply beautiful. It’s definitely worth purchasing if you have somebody or you yourself enjoy writing. You won’t regret it. Quality is outstanding. Don’t take it to work.!!

I was excited to find these pens on a really good sale and thought I’d give them a try. They are gorgeous! I ordered a red and a blue and the pen color is just like the picture, dark and deep.I ordered the fine tip and it writes smoothly with very little scratchiness. The heft of the pen is wonderful! This is no lightweight plastic pen, this has some heft. It’s a smaller pen and, being a woman, I appreciate the size.

La pluma es verdaderamente hermosa en cuanto a su diseño, en cuanto a la calidad de trazos en la escritura es una belleza, es bastante suave al escribir, se desliza muy bien en el papel y tiene una fluidez de la tinta y es de secado rápido. En lo personal supera mis espectativas y la recomiendo ampliamente… buscare en presentación negra para comprarlo y así tendré el juego de azul y negro.
