Outstanding Well-made Product. I purchased this water filter for two reasons and I don't know which reason would be #1. First, the price is substantially lower than most other RV water filtration systems. And after receiving the item the apparent quality is substantially more than my expectations. While we are still in mid winter here and I have not used the filter based on looks, feel and quality I expect no issues. If I find them later, I will update this review. Two, I ordered this filter based on a past history with Beech Lane's customer service when I had previously purchased their RV leveling bluetooth device. This company's customer service is at a level above others. Plus both products come with a lifetime no questions asked warranty. In short, I would not hesitate to buy this again !!!!

Easy setup; use plumbers tape, no issues while using in my 5th wheel. Some drips at first, tightened a little more, no drips. I tested 2 times for bacteria and chemicals, no bacteria or hazards in water. Recommend for your RV. .5 micros and price is fantastic.

Heavy duty product. I mounted on the side of my trailer with a pan head bolt and 2 nuts to jam against the trailer leaving me a small gap to hang the filter bracket. Easy on and off. My gripe is that it requires a lubricant for the O-rings. This is not included. They should have at least included a small ketchup sized packet to use. Good luck finding such while out camping... I also kinda found it difficult to ensure the filters were centered when screwing up the filter holders to the base so the top aligned with the base male receiving end of the filter female connection. Overall, the water tasted much better and I feel safer knowing it is filtered versus the blue typical filter used before.

My wife and I are full-time RVers and bought this water filteration system about 8 months ago. We wanted to upgrade from the traditional 20 micron Camco in-line water filters that we could easily picpup at any retail box store for roughly $20. The in-line filters simply just weren't lasting long and constantly having to buy a new one every month. After further product research and comps, I pulled the trigger and purchased this two stage system by Beech Lane and have not regretted it one bit. Water passes seamlessly through a 5 and 0.5 micron carbon block filter that removes majority of the bacteria, cysts and other finer elements that you don't want to ingest. It produces great tasting water without any noticeable flow restriction. I compared this product with the same two stage by Clear Source and only made sense going with Beech Lane. It delivers on the same quality at a fraction of the cost. Clear Source runs about $300 versus Beech Lane only at $70. Plus, Beech Lane sells the matching set of replacement 2.5" x 10" filters on Amazon for only $20 where most individual replacement filter are going for upwards of $35 or more on other websites. We have been swapping out the filters roughly every 3 months depending on the usage, source water, location, etc. Hope this helps any speculators interested in buying or upgrading their current systems as I was previously!

This dual filter system is well built. I installed it to filter the water for my park model trailer in hope it would remove a periodic smell that we would get when we first turned on the faucets. It didn’t! I suspect this is more of cartridge issue. The water source is lake water that is filtered and run through an UV light prior to getting to our trailer. The supplied cartridges do remove a lot more sediment and other impurities. I didn’t notice any pressure loss after installation.

I haven't been able to see where you can order or get spare o-rings (gaskets).I know they don't last many changes so if you sell them let me know.Thanks

Being a former ISO certified quality auditor, I'm picky and rarely find a high quality product these days. Had so many problems with cheap products from you-know-where I could scream.But, my wife and I love this product. We did not get a free unit or a single cent to write this either.We actually have a coach and a large travel trailer, and the later sports a GE whole house filter system which is annoying to use. Plus, we have a heavy duty plastic milk crate to set it in.This unit will stand up on its own, or can be mounted to your RV or a 2x4 brace. Easy setup. Comes with two nice quality filters.For less pressure drop, swap out the existing filters with two charcoal infused 1 micron filters instead.This unit is not leak prone like our other GE unit. Quality brass connectors, decent build quality, easy to tighten filter housing.You can also do as we do, and add 0.4 oz sodium dichlor (spa chlorine granules) using a digital scale into the 2nd cartridge housing, after removing filter #2, and easily sanitize your RV city or fresh water system. The water will swirl thru that second filter, slowly dissolve the sodium dichlor and voila, a fresh clean system or tank (bleach or food grade hydrogen peroxide works too, (not together, one or the other) but I have tons of sodium dichlor on hand. My little trick.Anyway, after several uses, I'll be swapping out the OEM filters for the charcoal filters instead, due to high mineral content and slight iron in North FL water.Nonetheless, this is a great product, fairly priced, well made, built to last.
