I have very hard well water. I have a filter system. But the water is hard on appliances so I put one on my washer intake hose and one on the my refrigerator ice maker line. People may say I on over kill. But those are expensive appliances. The filters aren’t.

Seems to be working well. Water from the faucet tastes good.No debris in the water. The leak was from me being distracted and not going back to fully tighten the connection.Installation took less than 10 minutes.

These filters really work. You need to run water through them before installing them. Running water through them cleans out any loose debris.

When you camp you never know what is in the water so having a filter on your hose is wonderful. I know that I don't have to worry about to much when I have this hooked up. We do buy a new one every year just to make sure it still functions like it should

Water at RV parks is always going to be a gamble. These inline filters are great at removing sediment and some tastes and odors.We have bought this brand on several occasions and have always been pleased with the quality, taste and smell of the water that comes into our motorhome. And the flexible hose certainly makes the filter easy to manage.We have never had problems with these in heat or colder weather and we use it when we are connected to city water and for filling our fresh-water tank so we have water while driving down the road.There will be a bit of dark-colored carbon dust when you connect it for the first time, so be sure to run a few seconds worth of water through the filter before hooking it up to your RV to flush out that carbon. (Not that it would hurt you, just might be a bit "gritty" in your mouth.)
