These are super strong between the dogs and our pet racoon they can't seem to get it open. Only down fall is it's a pain to open when there is ice and snow on them

Had a stray dog that had been running the neighborhood and getting into trashcans including ours. This strap set was a lifesaver! It has kept the dog from being able to get into our trash can and tip it over. It has been so effective our neighbors wanted to to know where we got ours! It is pretty easy to install and works great like it was designed to. I would definitely recommend if your'e having pest issues with your trash can.

I got this to keep my dog from getting into the trash. Left her in the house for 10 minutes while I ran out to do an errand and she managed to break into it within that timeframe with no problem. I would not recommend this product.

Tough to install to be tight since the fabric stretches and the plastic is garbage. My bears are genius and open stuff like this or just rip the whole lid off, but this will work if your bears are less ambitious

Truly these have made my life so much better. We were previously using bungee cords and I can't tell you how much of a pain those are too take off when they are frozen. These are so easy. I can easily unclip them while juggling trash bags in my other hand. Also, we have had at least one bear visit and no trash to pick up. I guess it must have confused them for a little while. I decided to get a second set for the recycle can. Not because the animals get into it, but because the wind is a problem.

Sturdy straps to keep the lids from flying open while walking the cans up our long driveway. Not sure how they’ll stand up to bears, but we don’t leave our cans out anyway. Very fast and easy to install and quick and easy to clip and unclip. Exactly what I needed.

There is nothing worse than coming outside to put out a bag of trash and see the previous bag strewn all over the lawn because a trash panda got into it the night before. Then you go from depositing one bag in the receptacle to having to spend time in the cold or rain picking up the previous trash that a raccoon got into. Well, after installing this, consider those raccoons evicted. I haven't seen any trash on my lawn since I put this on my can. No more bread bags and pudding cups blowing across the lawn. It's great! Highly recommended if you are having the same problem. Installation was a breeze and it keeps the lid secure in place and keeps out the rodents.

These are perfect for keeping the raccoons out. Our trash cans are small enough that we were able to use one on each can. If using for bears, would definitely recommend using 2 straps per trash can. Instillation was very easy. I did change out the washers that came with the kit for a larger diameter. So glad I don’t have to clean up the garbage anymore.
