My Frenchie loves this toy. He has yet to crack it open although he has ripped the tippy top off. He gets so worked up we only let him have it supervised for short amounts of time but he absolutely loves it. He will chase it up and down the hallway and bats it all around. I’m actually surprised at how large the toy is but pleasantly so.

My dog absolutely destroys all plush toys we give her, so these are a great option for her! She loves tearing it open and pulling the stuffing out but we still end up with the inner toy at the end so it’s not a complete waste! She hasn’t torn the fabric off the inner ball but she loves to play with it still!

Amazing my super chewer dog can’t even get to the 2nd toy inside. So it’s super durable.

Got this one for our dog last Christmas. These toys are great because they are fun and last a while for us. Our dog got through the first layer and stops on the second usually, and this one still squeaks after lots of chewing. Now it's just the little sad nugget but also like a ball so it's great.

Frankie the 7.5 month old chihuahua loved it, took him a few weeks to get through it but he also loves his other toys.10/10 would recommend.A bigger dog may get through it rather quickly though.

Our medium golden doodle would seemingly rather destroy toys then play like a cute, fluffy boy should. However, these Monsieur Acorns are awesome. He knows there's a ball in there, and enjoys playing with it both as an intact acorn, a ball, or the floppy acorn skin. Once he "rescues" the ball from the acorn...it's a whole new toy...and we then call it a spicy meatball as it still has fabric around the spiky ball; for some reason, he leaves the fabric around that ball more often than not (we buy a couple every month or so). So we gave a small collection of spicy meatballs. He also enjoys the pineapple and the cactus...but Monsieur Acorn is the favorite.

Our pup she's 55 pounds had a blast ripping the stuffing out of the big Acorn and now has a squeaky ball to play with. Cute, fun toy medium size value for the money is excellent

I puchased this for my one year old shih tzu thinking it had a like a velcro opening for the other toy to come out but no it's all sowed up:) I can feel the other toy in there. I dont think he's gonna be able to ever get the other toy out but that's OK he still loves it its cute/ fun and still has a squeaker.

My dog, from the moment I gave it to him, was obsessed with it. It's got three layers, and while the outer Monsieur Acorn is no more, he was able to play with the inner-one until he ripped off the fabric. Now, he has a blue textured ball to play with, and he loves it. Goes to bed with it every night, now! Will definitely order again (or try the other varieties)

A mi perrita le encanta para jugar con nosotros. Ella es una Border Collie de tamaño mediano y le cuesta trabajo sujetarlo. No lo recomendaría para perros pequeños, como dice la descripción.

My dog (an American Staffordshire Terrier) lovessss to chew and destroy things! We have literally gotten three of these because she loves them so much, and they last, too!! You get the first toy, which my dog rips open. I’m not sure exactly how long it takes for her to destroy it, maybe a few days to a week. Then another little toy (with a sad face lol) is revealed. She highly enjoys this one, as well! Finally, she rips the fabric off that and then a blue, spiky ball is revealed. She lovesss to chew on it and I think the bumps are a nice texture for her mouth. She is quite a strong chewer and the ball lasts a long time!! No toy lasts forever and I have found under dog toys are quite expensive and that’s no guarantee of how long it will actually last. But I am perfectly fine with spending ~$11 every once in a while for these toys because I know she loves them, and they are not immediately destroyed.

Our 2-year old mutt (pardon me: “mixed breed” of unknown origin) is a monster power chewer, and really deserves a job as a toy tester ... every toy that she has ever gotten has been shredded within minutes. Because of this, she never gets squeaky toys any more, mainly because she is able to de-squeak a toy in a ridiculously short amount of time. I’m sure this is a never-ending source of dismay for her “sister”, Xena, who also never gets squeaky toys because of Tigger's need to kill any squeaky she comes across ... they’re like the squirrels of the toy world, and she wants them all dead. Seeing a squeaky toy for power chewers, and with an inner toy, too, was so exciting! We ordered the acorn for Tigger and the pineapple for Xena, then waited. After a couple of weeks, both toys arrived, and I think I was more excited than the dogs. Until Tigger got her toy, that is, and the howls of laughter began!! They didn’t last, alas, but they were fun while they lasted. It took her six minutes to break through the first layer and festoon our carpets with stuffing. Another two minutes and she had the inner squeaky ball out, too, which was fine. What wasn’t fine was how easily she started chewing the spikes off the ball, leaving little blue nubby bits all over the carpet (and in her poop). All together it took her less than ten minutes to free the ball and start chewing the spikes off of it. I’m dealing with an extreme case, though, so there may be no help for her. She (and her sister) may just have to live a squeak-free life, a sad existence for a dog (or so they tell me, anyways!). A life without squeaky toys??! Say it isn’t so! Maybe someday there will be a toy for power chewers like her, but this one isn’t it, alas.Would be a good choice for dogs that don’t shred every. Darned. Toy. Ever!
