I'm always dubious of the claims of plush dog toy manafacturers, when it comes to the durability of their products. Other than 1 Kong teddy, everything else has been destroyed within 48hours.After reading mainly positive reviews of fluff n tuff products, I purchased 3 for my 1 year old Vizsla and 10mth old Newfoundland. Despite them having a good variety of toys, obviously they always want the same one and a game of tug and war ensues. Despite a combined weight of 85kg currently, the fluff n tuff have lasted a couple of weeks so far. We have this dinosaur, a sloth and stingray.

My heavy chewer lives for her fluff n tuff toys! All other plush toys get destroyed in minutes with my pit. The fluff n tuffs last for months, even more! She has a very wide collection, but even after over a year, Ross continues to be her favorite.

We have many fluff and tuff toys. This one is as great as the others. Its a bit small for my lab but she loves it anyway.

The only brand of dog toys I’ll purchase! Our rescue dog is known for destroying toys and leaving fluff everywhere, she has met her match with these toys! We have a collection of toys that she loves to play with but does not rip!

Our wiener pit is a sweet boy but he is absolutely brutal with his toys. When he was a puppy it was easier to get him toys because he didn't have the strength to destroy them quite like he does now. We are still learning what toys will last and which ones won't (spoiler alert - most don't).We get him the hard toys but we really love giving him soft plushie ones, and he loves those best as well. It can be frustrating trying to get him these soft fluffy toys only to see him decimate them gleefully in five minutes, then be sad cause his toy is destroyed. We got the trout toy from this brand awhile ago. Its struggling but still partially exists. We bought this dinosaur two months ago and it's still mostly intact. Now we do try to rotate his toys so he doesn't get them full time. But the only real damage to this one so far is the spine is starting to come apart. This brand is a little more expensive than the cheap easily destroyed toys, but it is still one of our favorites just because the toys LAST. And our baby loves them. They rank as his third favorite toys, right behind balls and ropes he can play fetch and tug of war with.

Was hoping this product might hold up for a few months, but after 2.5 hours my golden chewer had one leg and a face torn off. :(

I have a corgy that destroys every toy I purchase except for these ones. He has had his original Fluff and Tuff for 2 years!! These are the only toys I will buy him now.

This is the 3rd item that I have purchased from Fluff and Tuff and all three are highly loved by my brother's pup. He plays rough but these have held up over the years. Additionally, they are the most sought out toy that he presents to play with.

I was hopeful as it seemed tougher than most toys but my pup was still able to get a hole in the leg in the first hour.

I have two dogs - both love to destroy toys. They have been playing with this toy for over a week and no holes (yet)! The fur is quite crunchy from all of the saliva and playing they've been doing but it's still in great shape! To contrast, every other stuffed toy, even the so-called tough brands, have lasted a day MAX. I have felt bad not buying them soft toys because they both love them but I couldn't stand seeing so much money being thrown away and fluff all over the floor.Within a day of purchase, I was already looking at their other toys and picking out a few for my pups. I will absolutely be buying again. I'm very impressed!UPDATE 6/2024:This toy lasted almost 6 months!!! Amazing when it comes to my dogs. Definitely ordering more.

My two 10-month-old Alaskan Klee Kai are only ~12 lbs, but have the destructive power of rottweilers or perhaps a pack of wild wolves. We've bought all the kevlar-threaded (LITERALLY), "indestructible", "tough chewer" dog toys on the market and nothing lasts very long in our house. We frequently have to consign their beloved toys to the trash when they get so shredded that our pups start trying to swallow the pieces, but we don't like to leave them without anything to chew, as it helps their teeth, expends their energy, and curbs other destructive behaviours. I turned to online forums for suggestions of what other dog owners in the same boat have found works for their dogs.I was pretty skeptical of these toys at first given how plush they look compared to some of the "extra tough" toys we've bought that didn't withstand our pups, but the reviews were so positive we gave it a go. It helps that these are adorable and we loved the names: it was hard to narrow down the options! We ultimately settled on Ross the Brachiosaurus & Violet the Unicorn for our pups. They have had these toys for almost a month now and, while they are distinctly worse for the wear, they are 1) mostly intact, 2) still stuffed, & 3) with squeakers still inside. That's a major victory in our household! In these photos you can also see the husk of a Kong Ballistic giraffe which was gutted and headless within just a few days, next to Ross after 3 weeks. Fluff & Tuff for the win!Ross is intact save for one very mangled leg. Violet lost her mane, tail, ears, & horn pretty quickly, followed eventually by her hooves, all of which were either a different fabric from the main body or small extruding components that are easily gnawed. That said, our pups REALLY laid into these toys, in light of which the damage is shockingly minimal. You can see from my photos how much my girls love these toys. While they aren't invincible, they have lasted longer than any other soft toy we've brought home to our tiny, mighty canine piranhas, so I think our family will stay patrons of Fluff & Tuff. I would love to see them come out with even stronger toys as well as some smaller sizes, but it would be impossible to expect anything to hold up flawlessly against really aggressive chewers, and this is the best we've seen so far!
