Almost plug and play. Except for having to cut out the pre-formed area for the water spout this thing is plug and play. Installed it easy and it's make ice right away. Fits whirlpool refrigerator model ED5GHEXNB00 and 1/3rd the cost of OEM brand. It works.

Bought this for my whirlpool Refrigerator. It works good and makes ice however within a few months its started leaving paint chips in the ice cubes. The ice trays are coated with a paint that starts peeling apart. I have to pick through my ice cubes looking for paint chips before I can use the ice....Annoying! Recommend spending more for a better quality unit.

The icemaker in our whirlpool refrigerator went out, and this one appeared to be exactly the same. Turned out it was, it was very easy to put in. Ended up using the cable from the old icemaker. Zero problems now, no more puddles of ice in the ice bin. Very happy.

Entregado antes de la fecha establecida. Bien empacado. Tal y como lo describe. Incluye los cables conectores y accesorios para la instalación.Ya lo instalé y estoy esperando a que inicie a funcionar porque requiere que esté a la temperatura del congelador para poder arrancar, pero todo indica que sí está muy bien el producto. El conector no es del tipo de mi refrigerador pero utilicé el cable que tenía el aparato anterior, ya que la conexión del nuevo es igual y le queda el cable anterior.La instalación es muy sencilla, no requiere mano de obra especializada ni contratar a ningún técnico. Lo único que tuve que hacer fue cortar una parte ( que ya viene previamente marcada ) en donde entra la manguera que alimenta el agua, para que se acoplara exactamente y evitar derrames.
