We have tried all 4 of the buffing wheel pads and NONE of them would stay on for more than 30 seconds on either spindle. We even tried changing the sides they were on. Would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Nice little polisher. If your buffs are not balanced the buffer will run around on your bench. I screwed mine to the bench. It is powerful at medium to high speeds but the highest speed is way to fast to suit me. I have really been using it since purchasing. The buffing pads are holding up fairly well considering the heavy usage. Cleaning up some very heavily oxidized brass and steel. Very happy with this little machine.

This thing is great and it came with two of each wheel so I use one of each for metal and one of each for wood. Variable speed is great for polishing knives to control heat.

The white, softests wheels do not stay on. Following the directions it said if it won't stay on try the other one because there is a left and right, but it doesn't matter, neither will stay on. Crap product.

I wish the base was heavier, but they did supply some holes to secure it down. which i plan to do once i'm sure its location is permanent. it looks like you'll have to remove a plastic cover that holds the feet from the base to screw it down. the predrilled holes may need to be widened depending on your work surface/screws.There are some additional predrilled holes on the side on the base on the right hand side, ive no idea what those are for.... but they're there if that helps anyone hahaIt would be nice to have an RPM gauge instead of the increasing bars.Great for the price and excellent addition to my silversmithing studio.
