Your cart is empty.The 18V LXT® Sub-Compact Brushless Polisher/Sander (XVP01ZB, tool only) is a compact solution for precise detail polishing or sanding applications. A dual speed selector provides 0-2,800 RPM in polish mode and 0-9,500 RPM in sanding mode. A variable speed trigger with power lock-on provides added convenience. The brushless motor enables the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer run time performance and rubberized gear housing helps protect delicate surfaces. The polisher/sander features Anti-restart protection, which engineered to prevent motor start up when the battery is inserted with power switch in locked-on position.

It has performed as expected. As suggested by a previous reviewer, it would be nice if it could be locked on a particular speed rather than on-off with variable that has to be held while using.

Used this to polish our glass shower doors and the shower wall surround. Removing the scale buildup on the glass required the use of 3” round scotch Brite pads with Turtle Wax Restorer. Glass looks like new. Shines brightly.Used foam pads and Meguires Car Clean and Wax on the walls of the shower. Came out smooth and clean.The tool itself is a bit heavy with the 5ah battery. But it had plenty of power and the variable speed helped reduce splatter on start up.So many projects around the house and in the garage to tackle with this very handy tool.

Works well, wish it had more precise rpm control. It is small for big jobs, but as a hand polisher it works good.

Used it to clean up some 20 year old headlight assemblies. Did a really nice job without much effort. The tool is nicely built and ergonomic. I wish you could lock the trigger on a lower speed besides full blast but it's a small nit pick. I was a little hesitant to buy it and just use a drill attachment but I'm glad I got this polisher instead
