All of my connections were right and secured. It worked for a little then stopped even though all the wires connected still worked. I asked for a replacement they said no. Bad support for this product.

So I’ve never installed an alarm, remote start, or push button start system before. I did some research on my vehicle (02) Silverado and was able to get it installed and working for the most part. The push to start works great as well as the lock, unlock and remote start. My first issue tho is hooking up the remote start. Everything is straightforward except when it comes to hooking up the green wire which is labeled as oil path detection wire. From what I’ve seen normally a remote start wants you to connect a wire to anything that gives 0-12 volts when the car is running. In this case the wire needs 12 volts and nothing less. In order to get the remote start to work I will have to run a wire from the fuel pump relay trough the firewall. My second gripe is that every time you lock or unlock the car it honks the horn. Locking I understand but it honks twice when you unlock which I find odd and annoying. You can turn it off, but then the actual alarm feature won’t honk the horn if the shake sensor goes off at least. It will also mute the find your car feature too and only flash the lights. I’ll probably just leave the sound on. Finally the passive entry portion is nice and it seems to work reliably as long as you place the sensors correctly. The only thing I could see being an issue/annoying is if you are unloading things from your car to your house since it locks and unlocks based on your distance. For 50 dollars it’s perfect for my POS truck, but if you have a nicer car and are concerned about anything I said I would go with a reputable brand. The one thing I don’t understand are all the reviews saying that an alarm shop couldn’t install it. Sure it took me quite a while cause I knew nothing about this type of stuff before, but now that I do I would feel comfortable installing this in any other car so long as I have the correct pin out for the vehicle.

Installed in a vintage beetle. The instructions are written assuming you'll be splicing the module into a modern electrical system, which I was not, so be prepared to deal with that if your system is older or doesn't match standard wiring patterns. Support was very responsive, and despite the language barrier were able to assist me, very friendly and responsive.

This product will drive you absolutely insane. The auto-lock and unlock is the bane of my existence. Getting gas is a nightmare, popping the hood makes you look like an idiot, even getting the groceries makes you look like buster Keaton as you fumble with the keys to get it to stop lock and unlocking. I declare this product wack!
