About this item

  • Pipe Size: 2" ; Thread standard: NPT ; Material: Brass
  • The solenoid valve operates at 110V AC. It is N/C (Normally Closed), meaning it is turned off when there is no power supply. This means higher security
  • Operational temperature range: -5 - 80 ℃
  • The Electric Solenoid Valve Can be installed at any angle, but it is a good choice when the horizontal tube keep upward.
  • Widely used: Widely applicable to the opening and closing of pipelines using water, gas, and other liquids as working media (such as outdoor garden irrigation, water control in pipelines, water supply to water heaters, household pipelines, etc.).

BACOENG Solenoid Valves (Normally Closed)

Product Feature:

  • The valve body part is made of high quality material, with strong corrosion resistance, sturdy and durable.
  • BACOENG Solenoid valve uses electric signal, can work for automatic or Remote control, property stably, easy to use. With the use of pure copper coil, the valve can be opened and closed in one second, and the service life is far more than one million times.

Parameters:

  • Pipe size: 2"
  • Voltage:AC 110V
  • Material: Brass
  • Operation Mode: Normally Closed
  • Available : Water, Gas, Oil (non-corrosive)

solenoid valves

Thicker Pipe Wall & Clear Threads

  • Thickened pipe wall, resistant to high load, and long service life
  • Clear interface threads are not easy to slide, and the connection is precise and not easy to leak

solenoid valves

Flow Direction

  • The valve body is marked with inlet and outlet arrow indication, please use according to the inlet and outlet signs.
  • Solenoid valve coil keep in a vertical position.

Pure copper coil

High Quality Copper Coil

  • The copper coil is lower resistance than aluminum coil.
  • It can adapt to high-temperature environments and has good stability and corrosion resistance after long-term use.

Wiring

  • No Polarity, + and – can be interchanged.
  • For two-wires solenoid valve, you do not need to distinguish between positive and negative poles and its performance would not be affected at all.

Warm Tips:

1. Keep the pipeline as clean as possible before installation.

2. When installing the solenoid valve, be sure to wrap the appropriate raw material tape around the pipe threads and adjust the position of the solenoid valve.

3. Pay attention to the insulation of the circuit.

4. Please install the direction of the solenoid valve according to the direction of water flow.

5.Note that your solenoid valve is a VITON gasket, NBR gasket, or other type. NBR gaskets are not intended for use with gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive liquid products. If your valve needs to be used for these, you can purchase a valve with a VITON gasket from BACOENG.

I would have given 5 stars except for the fact I had to go back and slightly tighten the 4 screws hilding the bidy together. After a couple of days a very small diaghragm leak hadvdeveloped. The leak went away after i tightened the allen screws ever so slightly.

I installed this and it leaked from the fitting, so I had to re-install it. Everything looked great. Six days later I walk past the hot water heater and there is a puddle of water on it. It is now leaking from the body. I am getting it replaced, but I don't have much confidence in it.UPDATE - I took the original valve apart and I found a brown substance on the rubber seal that may have been part of the problem. I cleaned it up and re-installed the rubber piece and it still leaked. I pulled the defective valve out. The replacement showed up today, so I installed that and so far, so good. If the new one is an issue, I will return that and go with another brand.Second UPDATE - I received a free replacement and installed it. Everything looked great and I was ready to leave a better review when I noticed it too started leaking. This is day 6 or 7 after installation and this second valve is leaking worse than the first one I installed. I have noticed that this valve gets very HOT (not just warm) and I wonder if the heat is melting the rubber seal. Just a thought, but I am returning the second valve and looking for a better supplier. Take my advice and buy another product!

After reading the reviews, I took a chance and ordered one of these valves. I'm using this valve under my vanity to recirculate hot water back to the water heater through the cold water line. The function meets my expectations and I think it's a great value for a solid built stainless steel valve. The "problems" described by the other reviewers may be due to the following:Getting hot - I have over 40 years experience in the industry and solenoid valves do get hot. This is as expected. Any coil is going to generate heat when it creates a magnetic field strong enough to hold the plunger open against the spring pressure. This should not shorten the lifetime, it is normal. (Good luck finding a valve of this type that does not get hot when on.)Noise problems - DC (Direct current) valves are much more quiet. This is an AC (Alternating Current) valve and therefore by design, the field expands and collapses 50 times per second. (50 Hz) This creates the vibration that causes the noise. If you want to reduce the noise, you can remove the coil and apply sticky wheel bearing grease on the outer side of the valve stem and then slide the coil back in place. Another trick to try too is to put a thin rubber washer or O-ring on either side of the coil. This should significantly reduce or dampen the noise but there will still be some hum when the coil is energized.DO NOT turn the power "ON" to the coil without the valve stem in the coil! (Or a screwdriver.) That's how you melt the coil windings on AC solenoids. (DC valves don't matter.)NOTE the small arrow and install the valve in the correct orientation of flow. Otherwise the pressure could force the valve open. If installed correctly, the pressure will force the valve closed when de-energized, and further help seat the valve sealing area.Hope this helps. I'm very happy with my valve. A quality Stainless Steel valve for 30 bucks!
