I have a herniated disc but don't want any more surgeries. This belt provides a subtle lift that relieves the pressure in my back. Very good back support! I wear it snug, not too tight, then pump it up. It can be used to provide support, as a light form of therapy, or when I "over-work" my back it can help relieve my pain. Great belt to use.I took my time to evaluate this item. Glad I bought it and highly recommend it to others.

Oh the relief immediately I put this on and pumped it up. It does far more than the elasticised support I've been using for so long. I have ruined my sacroiliac joints by falling off a roof, and my pelvis humping a pack and machine gun in Vietnam. Even if this only lasts 12 months before I wear it out it will be worth it. As long as I don't get a flat.........

The belt arrived in less than 24 hours from placing the order, in minimum packaging. It is well made from quality materials. Is comfortable to wear and is straight forward to inflate/deflate.Brief personal, medical and device usage history for a fit, healthy sixty eight year old male. Mid to upper green zone on the Body Mass Index.Twenty five years of L3-L4 spinal stenosis, plus two related complications causing pain, pins n needles in both legs and feet. Condition currently being reviewed every six months.Limited walking distance. Approximately 300 metres then. Stop, stretch to relieve pain, repeat. Limited comfortable movement but most tasks are doable if done slowly and with respect to spinal condition.Daily exercise includes, dog walking and ten minute lower back physio recommended movements. Power assist cycling seven to ten miles two/three time per week, with occasional longer distance fishing trips included.Medical devices used over the years include. An Omron electronic pulse massager (TENS machine). This is great to use when things are bad or in the evenings when relaxing. Neoprene heat belt. This is great to use when dog walking. Neoprene spinal support belt. Ok but not that effective. Used more to remind me to do stuff slowly and under control. Now I have this decompression belt and I was quite sceptical about buying it having experienced an ordinary support stretch belt. But I checked out reviews from various sites and most were good, positive comments and I totally agree. As soon as I put this belt on and inflated it I felt a few new mild sensations but literally, after ten minutes or so all was good and I haven't looked back. It maintains the correct posture whilst standing or sitting and pretty much relieves most of the pain whilst walking and doing other tasks. I comfortably wear it most of the daytime now and am totally impressed with its effectiveness and most importantly its doing a great job at keeping the pain at bay.It may not work for everyone but.IT WORKS FOR ME.

The product is nice & does do what it states it will. But way to large for my tiny frame. It stated Free returns but when i wanted to return it they wanted to charge me $8. It wasn't worth my time so sold it to someone who could use it. Was disappointed they advertised free returns but didn't honor it

I have lower back pain and love how you can increase the support and release it to your muscle pain.

I have 4 herniated discs I r’cvd as a firefighter for many years. My pain level is constant and at other times almost unbearable. I have another belt that is similar with vertical air chambers that structurally stabilize the belt but is not so rigid as to cause pain. But this new belt is engineered to not only do the same but magically produces pressure circumferensilly but also vertically, seemingly easing disc pressure upon one another. It actually eases the pain somewhat. The pressure can also be controlled by the number of pumps one puts into it. Only reason I gave it four stars is the inflation hose needs to be secured better as it flops around but it’s not a deal breaker and doesn’t affect the operation and efficiency of the belt. It’s an ingenious idea and design and well made. I can wear it under my shirt but plz wear an undershirt to keep from chaffing and producing sweat next to the skin. A well made product.Ps. Changed my mind and gave it 5 stars as the floppy hose doesn’t affect operation.

Ok I was a little surprised that this actually helped with the pain, the key was to make sure it was really snug around your waist and then blow it up with the included pump. I wore it foe about 20 to 30 min and after I took it off I definitely felt a different. I play a lot of tennis and my lower back always hurts after ll that serving. Much easier that doing stretching.
Hopeful but disappointed

The belt worked just great - however after the first use it would not hold air. I checked the Schrader valve and everything appeared to be in good working order. Still the belt would not hold air.I returned the first one only to have it's replacement follow the same path. The replacement would not hold air after the first use. I have a neighbor that owns the same belt - he was the one who recommended it to me. Together we could not figure out why the belt would not hold air. (His is fine and has been working for about 2 years). Not sure if it was operator error or not. I was very disappointed as When it worked it relieved pain in my lower back with the compression that my doctor suggested. Am looking for an alternative without much success.
