I installed this on my 2025 CRV EX-L. It comes with a tool to easily lift the middle console cover. There are four brackets you carefully pry up and the auto stall plug is grey and near the back. Simply press in the release on that, pull it out and install this device. So easy!

The only thing I hated on my new CRV is the Auto Idle Stop. I installed this literally in under 2 minutes. To be honest, I watched a You Tube video on how to remove the the center console for a competitor's product. Once I knew how to remove the console, installation was a breeze.To remove the console, just grab it on both sides and yank it up.To install this device, it requires you to shift the transmission out of Park, because the shifter prevents you from lifting the console enough to get to the connector. They include a tool to get the shifter out of park with the engine off, but the easy way to do this is to start the engine, shift to Neutral, then shut the engine off. The car will warn you to put the shifter back in Park, but just lift the console, unplug the connector, plug in this device into the console on one end, and into the connector you just unplugged.Done.It couldn't be easier, and it works fantastic.

I wasn't sure if this would disable the auto shut off permanently or what. It doesn't, it reverses the functionality of the button so that by default it is set to off. If you do want it on you can just press the button to turn it back on. So this performed better than expected.I had compared this to the idlestopper v2 which is triple the price and a lot more work to install. Thinking that was superior because it would reverse functionality was incorrect, this does that, and is easier to install. Simply pop up the panel near your shifter starting at the bottom and install it inline with the connector for that module. Took me less than 3 minutes to do and works perfectly so far.

However what is not said, its pretty much like a reverse switch instead of having the auto feature on at startup once its installed its now off, and if you wish to use the auto stop feature simply just hit the button.

Very easy install and it works great. Just pop the console trim up and the plug is right there. There are 4 clips, one on each corner. Start with the back 2 and work toward the front until it pops off. No need to move the shifter. I would suggest running some blue painters tape around the perimeter where you are prying up so nothing gets scratched.

I don’t leave reviews as a rule, but anyone who has a 2023, 2024 or 2025 Honda CR-V and hates the auto stop/start will want to spend the small amount of money for this product. It takes about 5-10 minutes to install and works great! No more having your engine shut off and you don’t have to remember to push a button to turn the switch and off. This is a great solution to an annoying car problem.

This plug is the perfect solution to the annoying factory idle shut off! This plug sets it to the way it "SHOULD" be from factory "OFF!!!" with this plug if you want idle stop it is now your choice to turn it on! not have to turn it off everytime you start your car!!! 2 minute install with included tool and works great been a couple months and absolutly no complaints.
