I love my 2024 Honda Pilot but its auto shutoff is so annoying. There is a button to disable it, but you have to press it every time you turn on the car. Well, with this device, it reverses the buttons functionality. Now when I turn on the car the auto shutoff feature is off. When I press the button (which I never will now) it enables auto shutoff. Best money spent.Installation was simple. It comes with the a tool to remove the panel. There are 6 locking pins, 3 on each side. Once the panel is removed, find the cables that align close to the auto shutoff. It is very easy to disconnect. Install this cable between the removed cable and the button panel. Pop the panel back into place.This this is awesome.

Purchased to eliminate the annoying stop/start factory feature on a 2025 Honda Pilot Elite. Easy to install into existing factory harness plugs. No electronic codes in the vehicle and works great. Cheaper than buying a new starter later on.

Easy installation, I took my time taking the center console off because I was scared to break it. But with some force it came off. The included tool helped a lot. But the installation was simple took me 5 min. It’s plug and play.

The device came with a plastic tool to assist in removing the electronic shifter console. I didn't want to break any of the tabs holding down the shifter console so I was careful taking the shifter console off. It took me a few minutes. I started to lift the shifter console from the front first and slowly releasing the tabs to the back panel. I unplugged the electrical plug and inserted the Auto Stop Start device and started the vehicle to test the Idle - Stop on the Pilot and it defaulted to "Off" and you can toggle to "On" as needed. Putting the electronic shifter console back on was easy. Just line up the tabs and slowly push until you hear the snap. The device has been installed for about a month. Works as expected. It took me about 10 minutes to install and test. You could install in less time it took me but I was being careful not to damage or scratch up my console.

The product itself works as expected.I did NOT use the included tool. I simply opened the center console and used my (regular length, male) fingernails to pull up the front. I had planned to put down painters tape to protect the surrounding plastic, but noticed the tape slid right under the corner of the shift assembly.Maybe my shift assembly is slightly looser than some, but I would suggest just trying to pull up without the tool at first. The front comes up easily, the back needs a little more pull but you can’t use the tool on that part anyway.

Works! Does what it is supposed to do. Pilot now defaults to the auto stop to the off position. You can hit button to turn on if you want on. Easy plug and play install. Kit come with plastic trim pry tool. Hardest part was getting back left clip loose, as to make sure not to break the clip or trim piece. With difficulty of last clip. Install less than 5 minutes. No error codes or any issues after installation. Everything works perfect, but now with the annoying auto stop feature. No instructions, but super easy common sense installation . Just pop up trim around gear selector buttons. Remove harness under the drive mode selector and plug device in line. Plenty of room under trim for device. Push trim back into place. Easy Peasy! All writing in Chinese (on device and warranty card). Well worth the money. Too bad Honda doesn’t make the car default to the off position to begin with. Installed on 2024 Honda Pilot Elite. Must buy!
