Install process was simple and not nearly as dreadful as I thought it may be. Took about 30 minutes and worked like advertised. I would buy again.

This is an absolutely awesome and easy to install device. I have previously installed these on my cars years ago and had to snip wires. It took me longer to take the lower dash apart than to install this unit. I wil purchase from this company for my other cars

There is a huge part that is plug and play but there is a TPMS wire that has to be wired in. I cut the wire down and opened the harness open to not cut too close to the connector. Other than that it’s all plug and play. Works great and if you have the keyed version you can open the door without it shutting off. I would recommend fully.

Simply put, it works as stated: a REMOTE STARTER with your keyfob. I have a 2020 4RUNNER with key start.Pros:1. Works as intended2. Install was truly "plug n play"3. Components, harness plugs and wires feel well made and assembled4. Programming was fairly simple, but took about 3 attempts for me. ***Tip= read the Programming procedure BEFORE plugging any of the harnesses into the main unit.5. Easily reversible to full factory if you change your mind, or trade in car. There's a small negative that I'll mention below.6. It's been preprogrammed to automatically shutoff after 15 minutes of idling, if you don't enter the car, insert the key, turn key to "START" position, apply brakes and switch the gear. Or just tap the brakes without the key to shut off.Cons:1. Overpriced for basic single function out of the box2. Instructions direct you to scan the QR code or go to their website for video installation, BUT the video is for a Tundra???(!) I had to resort to a few actual YouTube users with installation. But pay careful attention as some of those instal tutorials are older and some of the harness and main unit is different. Also, the Programming mine came with is completely different than all the YouTube videos I saw. So follow the Programming procedure in your manual, not other people's videos.... it's different.3. The system works great to remote start, BUT, there's an additional wiring harness that REQUIRES splicing 1 wire from your 4runner! In order to have the remote unlock your door whole the car is running, you HAVE TO do this splicing procedure. I DO NOT want to cut works on a $50K car! So, without this wire splicing, the car starts and then locks all doors. In order to enter, I HAVE TO use the car key to manually unlock the door to get in. I feel like this should've been preprogrammed without any splicing.... if it can LOCK the door upon the remote start, I don't see why I can't UNLOCK, as the circuitry is connected. Maybe not? But kind crappy.4. The installation instructions can use better pictures. I had to refer to YouTube videos to make I tapped into the right harness.Reason I gave 4 stars is because for $200, I feel like there should've been more preprogrammed features available with the plug-n-play method (no factory wire splicing). But it does work!

This was a birthday present from my husband for early gym days. Best gift ever! It’s really perfect! Our mechanic installed with no issues and it works great.

Reached out to the company before purchase, provided the same guide that came with the product.I followed it and even watched a video which isn't the same years for the 4runner to get a better understanding.I didn't want to bother cutting the tpms wire and was fine turning the key to unlockStart it up trying to program, which that itself was troublesome and I got a bunch of check engine lights and codes. I checked all my connections everything is connected.Returning for a full refund.

When I installed this brand on my 2021 Camary with pushbutton start, I was in & out 30 minutes flat. Now the 2021 4Runner took me 2 hours. Still easy but the harness that goes under the steering column was a bit cramped so it needed special maneuvering for the plastic to snap back together correctly. Also, a TPMS bypass needed to be spliced into in order for the keyless entry to work while running.
