This is extremely good quality and one of the cheapest. The wheels spin quickly and for a long time with the ball bearings. Once you get the hang of this, it can bring you hours of fun and get you place to place rather quickly.

Ok so it’s hard to use these cause they're cheap but they work. This was good to learn on and now I’m going to upgrade so I can use free skates the way they're meant to. The y are hard to accelerate but great for downhill. I suggest buying if you want to see if you can learn. Even though it’s tougher to learn on these, it’s less of a commitment.

First of all, shame on anyone who leaves a bad product review for an item because they couldn't learn how to use it. The review should be a reflection on the quality of the product, not your lack of athletic ability! I'm an old roller blader from back in the day. Never learned how to skateboard but for some reason, I was drawn to these things. I've spent about 8 hours teaching myself how to use them, and as you can see in my photo, they are holding up nicely. Just a few dings and scrapes here and there. Great learner set. Maybe even a good long term set, we'll see.

First and foremost, these are honestly really well made. The first iterations of cheaper free skates I bought once upon a time had cheaper, single piece construction trucks that were like arms that bent easily and obstructed the wheels. These are real improvements in that arena 👍Where anyone first trying to learn is probably going to get hung up is that the pumping motion most instructional videos teach you to do is really hard on the wide, flat wheels that these come with. It's already a kind of tricky coordination skill, but the flat profile of the wheels will work against you in figuring that rhythm out. Just something to be aware of 😊 And just to make a plug for the real deal, the JMKRide skates do come a more rounded, flowier setup that'll help beginners better 👍

I bought these and they lasted for 4months ( I'm a pretty reckless rider.) They were easy to pick up. Taking only 2-3 weeks, and the portability of this product is outstanding. I recommend buying if you are a beginning looking for a new way to ride around.

I saw these online and thought "I have to buy these" and let me tell you, they don't disappoint! They are quite difficult to learn at first, but after a few hours I was able to go a little ways with them. They are very unique and use a lot of muscles that other things similar don't use. Overall, I think these are a lot of fun if you're into skateboards, roller blades, rip sticks, or give a unique gift to a kid who loves balancing.
