I bought this because it was pretty. It was more for decoration on my stove for a couple years. Two months ago, I started using this for tea. I went to fill it today and it was had rust in the seams. Very bummed!

Smaller than I thought it would be. Really cute. Love the colors when it gets hot. Only 4 stars for the size. But very nice.

Super cute. The detail was a bit skeptical at first...didn't really look like much, but once warm it was absolutely beautiful. Boiling water has never been so much fun! Nice addition to stove top, thanks.

I was disappointed in the metal used. I thought I was getting quality, it is made of cheap aluminum. It works, it's cute, but that's it.

Finally a whistle thats loud enough for me to hear, especiallly since I am harde of hearing. It holds a lot of water. It heats it up fast and keeps it hot for a long time. The handle is cool to the touch. The quality is amazing, something you dont see anymore. Its also very nice looking.. I only have good things to say about this product. I would definitely buy this again!

Love the flames on the kettle and how the whistle starts softly giving time to turn down heat before it screems at you like so many other kettles.

It's always hard to tell what color will come when you order based off the pictures the seller provides. I can tell you this is most definitely a bubble gum pink color. I have seen some complaints about the pot rusting or turning color on the bottom but since I've had it for 2 weeks this has not been an issue for me. At the end of each day I rinse out the leftover water and then dry it thoroughly with a towel. It keeps it like new. As far a boiling, I do use it for tea so I tend not to let it come to a full boil as that is too hot for tea bags. It does get pretty loud if you let it whistle. I only boil about 1/3 high of water since it's just for 2 cups of tea. It takes about 5 minutes to get hot on my GAS stove using the middle size burner. I would guess the people that complained about it getting black around the chrome on the bottom are using it on a burner that is too big. Be smart and this little teapot will last you a long, long, time.
