Two things disappoint me about this kettle: (1) Once the water has boiled, the handle is too hot (to handle!). (2) The moment it is on the gas stove it starts to make a 'boiling' noise from the base of the kettle. I prefer my kettles to be silent until they whistle. Oh, there's a 3rd thing (3) the whistle is none too loud.

The coloris beautiful, but unfortunately, within 3 weeks it broke. The handle detached from the back and the top of the spout cover no longer moved up and down with the lever. So then it also didn't whistle.

This teapot is exactly what I was looking for. The blue color is perfect, and the teapot seems to be of very good quality. The size is perfect, the shape of it is adorable, and I love the clear glass lid. The whistle sound is loud enough, but not too loud. I feel that if this teapot is treated well, it will last a long time. I would buy again from this company. I absolutely love this teapot, and I looked at SO MANY before I chose this one.

I bought this kettle as I loved the blue colour. The whistle sometimes works and other times not. After 2 months the kettle discolored suggesting it’s not the best quality.
