This product will work for your sentry floor safe. BUT you must unscrew the existing ends of the original Sentry gas strut and remove the spring. Remove the ends on the new Arana strut, put the spring on and reassemble using the old attachment ends. Put the bottom pin in first and then snap into place. Worked great. FYI I ordered 'other brands' an Amazon that said it was a replacement but they didn't work. If need be the rods can also be swapped out on the existing and new gas strut.

Als ich mich entschieden habe, ein neues Sofa mit einem ausklappbaren Bettmechanismus zu entwerfen, wusste ich, dass ich zwei Gasdruckfedern benötigen würde, um die Funktionalität und den Komfort zu gewährleisten. Ich wollte, dass das Sofa nicht nur stylisch aussieht, sondern auch einfach zu bedienen ist.Zuerst habe ich die richtigen Gasdruckfedern ausgewählt. Ich entschied mich für zwei Federn mit einer Länge von 190 mm und einer Kraft von 178 N. Diese Spezifikationen schienen perfekt für das Gewicht des Bettmechanismus und die Größe des Sofas zu sein. Hier muss man natürlich individuell schauen, welches Gewicht nach oben gedrückt werden muss.Beim Einbau begann ich damit, die Positionen für die Gasdruckfedern zu markieren. Ich wollte sicherstellen, dass sie gleichmäßig auf beiden Seiten des Mechanismus platziert sind, um eine symmetrische Bewegung zu gewährleisten. Da man die Federn auf das Kugelgelenk später einfach aufstecken muss, ist die Montage hier recht einfach.Montage der ersten Gasdruckfeder: Ich befestigte die erste Gasdruckfeder an der Unterseite des Sofas und an der Klappe, die sich zum Bett öffnet. Die Federn waren so ausgerichtet, dass sie beim Öffnen des Bettes die gesamte Last tragen und sanft nach oben drücken konnten. Für die zweite Seite habe ich das dann genau so gemacht.Nachdem ich die Gasdruckfedern montiert hatte, testete ich den Mechanismus. Ich klappte das Sofa auf und bemerkte sofort, wie leicht und sanft sich das Bett öffnete. Die Gasdruckfedern arbeiteten perfekt zusammen und hielten das Bett sicher in der gewünschten Position.Dank der beiden Gasdruckfedern konnte ich ein funktionales und benutzerfreundliches Möbelstück schaffen, das sowohl als Sofa als auch als Bett dient. Die Verwendung von Gasdruckfedern hat nicht nur die Handhabung erleichtert, sondern auch zur Langlebigkeit des Möbelstücks beigetragen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Endergebnis und freue mich, es in meinem Wohnraum zu nutzen.Die Qualität ist super und die Gasdruckfedern kommen in einem Staubdichten Beutel.

This worked great for replacing a weak spring hinge on a 1963 Admiral console stereo lid. Original replacement hinge is 250.00! It still has an original look to it. I only used one 10", 10lb. shock. I have bought these before (40 lb.) for RV cabinets and they work great! Highly recommend these!

Put them in my toolbox that had a used up Strut and it fit with no issue. Very strong for a toolbox lid.
