There’s no other way to know for sure. Now I know my ePPFD! Knowledge is power.

I used it a couple of times and it stopped working. The display started fading and now it just does not turn on.Too expensive for the lifetime of the equipment.

Excellent product. Came fast. Price is to high and they send it in a cheap bag. For $600 I think I should be receiving it in a hard storage case.

When using this meter not only does it exceed and displays the difference from meters that don’t read far red, it reads consistent numbers showing it’s performance verification is accurate in that given specifics based on distance and light setting. The one drawback is price, it’s on the high side for what seems like an over account for R&D of this product.

I’ve had the Apogee MQ-610 for about two weeks now and have used it several times. Changed my plants to flower about 3 weeks ago and have been moving my light up every couple of days using the meter. I can attest to the fact that this meter gives me much more confidence in the light distribution top to bottom of my plants. I was very pleased with the quick readings (instantaneous) which makes the meter a breeze to use. I am very pleased with my purchase and can recommend the MQ-610 to anyone requiring a quality PAR Meter.

I finally upgraded and got a couple Apogee par meters and they're living up to the hype so far. I bought an mq-500 and mq-610 Epar cause I'm running spyder and iluminar "beyond-par" fixtures for my grow. First impressions are the sensors are built like a tank and I'm getting super tight readings to my spectroradiometer. My old par meter was way off. I especially like the fact the epar picks up the far red in my Iluminar. I might post again later but so far I'm happy with the investment.
