It was incredibly easy to apply and I loved that it came cut in different sizes. Just peel and stick - super simple! Cats have not tried to scratch those areas of the couch again.

These thick, clear stickers do work to deter cats from scratching on furniture, but it may take a while for them to learn and must be combined with other strategies. We had an already partially ruined couch from cats scratching. I put one large sheet on the lower side of the arm, one medium size sheet across the upper side of the arm, and one on the front of the arm. We then put an approved scratching post nearby and a scratching pad across the room, and then we showed the cat that he could scratch on those. The cat originally still tried to find the tiny spaces that weren't covered by the plastic on the couch arm, perhaps out of habit more than anything, but after a few days, he decided it wasn't worth the extra effort compared to the other options. He has not scratched on the couch in weeks. I originally didn't use any of the plastic screws, but I was accidentally pulling off the stickers when I would brush past them. Just two of the screws at the top corners hold down each piece perfectly. Having your furniture covered in plastic stickers isn't the nicest look, but neither is torn up furniture, so pick your problem. Maybe after a while of the habit being broken, we will be able to remove the stickers, and he will still use the alternative scratching post.

It works, it's just not ascetically pleasing to look at. Think of this like a thick plastic wrap, that has a sticky side. You stick it to the side of your couch, walls, wherever your cat scratches that you don't want damaged. Install is pretty easy, just cut the film to size and place it where you want. The film is a bit glossy looking, so it doesn't look great, and kind of reminds me of my grandmas house with her plastic wrapped couch LOL. The film sticks pretty good, even when scratched by my cat. I did notice my cat doesn't like to scratch the couch as much with this film applied.

These protectors have been very helpful in keeping my cats from scratching the furniture. The clear design blends nicely with the couch, and the adhesive works well. However, applying them can be a bit challenging, especially if you are covering curved areas.

I obtained these to put on the sides of some couches to prevent my cats from using the area as a scratching post. These work really well. They are easy to install, and I really like the pins that came to secure them in place really well. I have not had any problems with damage to the couch and definitely recommend this product to anyone with similar concerns!

The whole point of this product is to adhere to a fabric couch to prevent my cat from scratching but it doesn’t stick! I’d have to use all the clips and then what’s the point of using a sticky plastic to begin with! Don’t waste your money

I put this on my leather sofa to stop my cat from trying to scratch at it. It went on fine, a few bubbles here and there but not terrible. Well the next morning most of it had fallen away. It isn’t feasible to use the pins on leather so I just have to go back to putting blankets all over the sofa. Disappointed to say the least.
