As a way to hook your gimbal to a strap? Good. As a strap? Great. But there's one small problem. And that's that the strap makes the latch for an arm attachment inaccessible. They could have solved this by having a matched arm attachment on the outside of this attachment, keeping the functionality while adding the strap hookup, but they didn't do that. Also it has to be attached with screws, so swapping this out in the field is going to be a pain, and it's gonna involve small parts that are easy to misplace. Which is not good.If they'd included an arm attachment as a part of the attachment itself so the functionality could be maintained, this would have been Fantastic. Unfortunately, they did not. If you're okay with the above, this will be fine, and the strap is decent enough, but if you need the functionality of both, it might be best to avoid this one.

If you are running around with a gimbal then you are bound to get tired. After half a day my arms feel like jelly. Having this strap has help get rid of that fatigue.

This strap definitely served its purpose. If you are walking around doing a “run and gun” style shooting all day it doesn’t matter how light your gimbal is, it’s going to get heavy. This strap helped me carry a Ronin mini 3 and a FX3 all day shooting a wedding. Keeping the strap snug while holding the gimbal also helped with n keeping the gimbal more steady while I shot. Before you quest the all day with a Ronin mini 3 I will also add that I have 2 and swap them out since you can’t replace the batteries. I’m all about keeping the weight down and making it easier on my back. The strap was comfortable and made my day easier. The only setback from this strap is that where you would mount an external monitor is used by the strap for mounting it.

This is better than the additional arm. You can almost just leave it hanging with almost no a lot of force from your arms. I can record longer with this on.

after you put that on, you won't be able to attach external monitor arm or side grip
