I got this for my R62 and it has been very good so far. With the locking pins installed, it's very stable. It doesn't flex or budge at all. The right-side ergonomics are great, with the metal railing following the shape of the camera handle. If not for the extra weight, you could just leave it on and shoot photos with it attached – it's that well-formed and unobtrusive.

If you are okay carrying with a chunky camera, cages are great to attach mics and any extra accessories. SmallRig became my favorite brand on this field .

We considered this or that Black Mamba version. As much as I liked and wanted the Black Mama version. This model had more built in NATO mount points which meant less NATO rails bing bolted on. Making it smaller than the black Mamba for our use. And we we’ve been very happy with it.

Perfect addition to my new R6MkII and an absolutely necessity for adding attachments. The possibilities are endless with all the connection points and it does a terrific job of not obstructing any of the controls, which was not the case on another brand that I tried first. The construction is very solid and I've added a side handle, external mic and viewing monitor, so now the only limitation is my own strength as she's a tank!

Es muy intuitiva la instalación, en verdad que no es necesario un instructivo. Es fácil y rápida esta instalación. El material es de muy buena calidad, robusta pero ligera al mismo tiempo.

I was able to hook up a microphone and a Pocket 2 camera (without using the hot shoe on my camera) for a second view and then record my son’s lacrosse team. The Small Rig cage made it so much easier to set everything up.

This model has 2 anchor points at the camera strap. Far better design than the r6 version. I have both.

It doesn’t have the anti-rotation pins on the bottom. Instead, it relies on the pins inserted into the strap mount hooks. I bought this thinking it had the pins on the bottom, like the original R6 version. If you don’t use the screws on the sides, it is NOT stable. So don’t be buying this thinking you can skip that step.

Il cage è ottimo, aderisce bene al corpo macchina e migliora il grip. La R6 Mark II è una macchina molto leggera e con plastiche non eccezionali, infatti montando il cage si sta decisamente più sicuri e tranquilli.Ottimo prodotto.

J'ai acheté cette cage pour mon canon R6 MKII, ça me permet de fixer le récepteur rode werless pro, un micro et surtout indispensable pour fixer un écran externe. Le seul petit souci c'est pour les filtres drop-in que je ne peut pas sortir sans enlever l'ensemble bague et objectif.

Great cage for my R6MII. Installed really easy and comfortable to hold. Like all the options to add other attachments to the cage. Would recommend to anyone with this camera.
