Easy to attach to the camera. Nice lightweight metal construction and the well rounded grip helps stabilize larger full frame and APS-C DSLR cameras.

I bought this simple side handle to avoid buying an entire camera cage that I personally hate. I'm all for minimalism tools on camera to preserve aesthetics; if that's the case for you too, do not hesitate.

Feels sturdy and overall well-built. Plate does turn a little with some pressure, but not really a problem. The mamiya is a heavy camera, so I’m satisfied that it feels stable.

The handle and plate are made of lightweight aluminum and its very sturdy. The handle portion as soft foam around the front and back for your hands and is pretty comfortable to hold. Its pretty easy to assemble and mount onto your camera and adds a nice handle for shooting with 2 handle. I don't always require that but its nice to have this as an option, especially with a longer telephoto lens on.I like that it has several 1/4 20 holes for mounting additional devices like a light or monitor. There are several on the top of the handle and 3 on the curved base as well as on the end opposite the handle. Lots of options. It also includes a hot shue slot on the handle which actually works out better than the one on the camera to allow a slight offset from being right in the middle. This kit includes the allen wrenches to tighten the screws as well as one extra screw which is nice. Overall its a nice setup and not too heavy to add onto your camera.
